Cool ..I think you did great.. As a suggestion.. You might want to do the maze as a park? Then a person really wanting it could place near or nezt to the house. It might not be a perfect answer.

I have been to the hotel where the original exterior was filmed, The Timberline Lodge on Mt. Hood in Oregon. It is a great place to visit.

Just for the record.... The Shining isn't by Stanley Kubrick... it was a book originally written by Stephen King while staying at the Stanley Hotel (The Overlook Hotel from the movie) Otherwise a great idea, and as stated, try doing the maze as a park, it would be interesting

wow definatly brings back memory of watching one of the most scariest movies i have ever seen, love both stanley kubrick and stephen king. great job thank you.

@misslacyb yes, naturally, but this lodge I built was inspired by the Overlook Hotel in Kubrick's movie, the one based on the Timberline Lodge in Oregon, and not the Stanley Hotel, which Stephen King used as inspiration while writing the book. that's why I wrote "Stanley Kubrick's The Shining"!
