Everything looked ok till i put a family on there and it was waterlogged or something

OMG!
Use the water tool and click on the lake (like if you were adding more water). It should solve your problem.
If not, it can be because the lot is in a lower level than the water level in the city... I don't know how to explain this in english, because I'm spanish, so please sorry. Look at the road, it seems that your lot is in a lower level than the others... You could move the lot to another place and see if this happens again... KWIM?

yo también hablo español. Intenté quitar la casa pero me quedó una parte hundida y con agua en medio del barrio no se quita con nada, ni con boolprop :/
