God, I love these things. I'm using them in practically all my lots now, particularly because I seem to have this strange aversion to curtains...

Also, people smarter than me probably already figured this out, but I wanted to say that these work really nicely on glass doors, as well, if you want to add patterns to the glass bits. When I tried it, I thought that maybe it wouldn't "move" when the door was opened, so that it would be visible inside the "wall" when the door was opened. I was willing to live with that, just because it looked so nice with the door closed. But it isn't visible when the door is open, and Sims walk through it just fine, too. Yay!

Thanks all for the comments, and you're welcome.

iCad- really? Really, really? Awesome! I knew a sim would still walk through the door, but I didn't know you wouldn't be able to see these while they're doing it. Why didn't I know that? Because I didn't try it out, lol. To me these are mainly for windows..but now..yeah..*runs off to try it out*

Yes - I tried the long panel on some glass doors - they worked great

Really really. You've created something really useful and versatile here. It's perhaps the CC object that I have used and will use most often, going forward. I didn't think that anything would ever take that title away from buggybooz's kitchens but...Well, I think this will, because it's more universal even than those sets.

I've been messing with some initial attempts at stained and beveled glass recolors a bit...but so far they only look passable on windows/doors that are completely glass, not paned, and that fill the width of the tile, so they definitely have limits. But I think it should be possible to create some seamless patterns that will universally work, rather like the blocky one you have in this set. I need to work on making the "lead" look better, though...

I'm mostly found on (and mostly upload to) Tumblr these days because, alas, there are only 24 hours in a day.

About the stained glass- I know. *sigh* Sometime soon, I hope to try to make some templates or something because I love stained glass. But for those to work properly I'm going to have to do unslaved versions. The curtain I cloned the meshes from won't work for that because the 2-tile is slaved to the 1-tile and I don't have the patience to add resources back into it. (If that's even possible.) Once I get some projects finished I'll be going back to the unslaved 2-tile mesh even if it means I'll have to learn to be patient.

That said: *Gorilla Glues buggy's title down* :D

*laughs* I'll keep track of kitchen vs. window film usage, and I'll let you know who comes out on top.

Hey, whenever you get to the unslaved version, it's all good. I've only been "testing" my results on a long one-tile window and Numenor's Wall-Windows, anyway, and so far...Well, they need work, just from a graphics point-of-view, any "technical" issues aside. My Photoshop action-writing needs work. But maybe by the time you get to the unslaved mesh, I'll be able to create something somewhat decent-looking. Here's hoping, anyway.

I didn't download these all that long ago, but already they've become one of my absolute favorite things to use for building. They are just so well done (especially the screening!) and they've increased my building joy by a solid 80%. Thank you for this amazing thing!!!
