This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.

The set of jackets that come with the Base Game really look outdated. The Base Game textures aren't all that, looking at the lovely crisp textures the latest expansion packs offer. So I decided to overhaul this set of Base Game jackets, and recoloured a rather lovely Nightlife mesh to make these jackets for your fellas. I kept the colours the same - as there was nothing wrong with them - and these jackets now all go over v-neck shirts, for added loveliness. You will need Nightlife for this replacement to work!

Obviously, as a default replacement, this will completely replace the old mesh and textures, so any Sim assigned to wearing the original will now wear the new version. Obviously, if you already have recolours of the original, remove them before installing these. This only replaces outfits for adults males!

Alternatively, you can grab the "Recolours" file, which will not replace anything and just includes the 7 outfits, as recolours of the Nightlife mesh itself. You will need Nightlife for the recolours to work!

Ooh, these look great. Thank you! And thanks for providing the non-defaults too. I like keeping the original outfits available, so non-defaults are always appreciated.

Cool, I agree that the updating was a good idea for these outfits. But what's with the red jacket turning white? I liked it red, too...

I just preferred it white, in all honesty I wish there was a more interesting reason behind it.

Yaaay! I always thought that the Maxis ones were a bit fugly, but had a bit of potential in them. This is just the sprucing up they needed. Thanks a ton!

These are totally ace and I'm downloading them now (but I'm another one mourning the loss of a red jacket - nothing wrong with a chap strutting his stuff now and then lol). Thanks for these, wgroome!
