I'm happy to report that I've found the mod which was conflicting with this one, causing the AL microphone to keep building creativity instead of charisma. Yay! It was the Carrigon_NoZoneStandupMicAL.package from Sims2Workshop. That mod removes the "in the zone" sound effect and glow from a sim with maxed out hobby enthusiasm. I'm even happier to report that this No "Zone" Effects mod from DJS Sims does the same thing, and doesn't conflict with the charisma building!

So for anyone who was having the same issue, there you go. Problem solved.

And thanks again for this mod, Neder. It's wonderful. So wonderful I was willing to brave a hack conflict search to be able to use it. .
