Glad to see you're back! I think I've snagged everything you've done thus far, lol how funny that you have a set like the game one, since when I was young our kitchen table was the same as well.

Well! It seems as if a lot of people have this set in real life! Guess I'm not the only one. It seems to be pretty standard issue in furniture warehouses, so I guess it's not all that surprising. And maybe that's why it ended up in the game, too, in a more country-fied incarnation.

In any case, thank you all for the comments. :lovestruc They really do make my day and encourage me to keep sharing stuff.

That white shade is so pretty, especially with Espresso and Winchester Grey . Thank you!

I'm really enjoying the tables and chairs that match concept. And thank you for removing those hideous flowers from the table legs.

It might be easier to ask who hasn't owned this dining set. Just add me to the list of people who has owned it.

It's amazing what a lick of paint (and your woods) do to Maxis' furniture! Thanks!

They're all from this set: http://modthesims.info/d/420511

Specifically, the one in these pics is the "Walk the Plank" floors, but the other styles will match, too. Sort of. Meaning, I made those floors before I kept a "standardized" color hex code list, so the match isn't 100% perfect. But then, even if it was, floors light a bit differently than furniture, anyway, so they might not look perfectly matching even if the colors of the texture images were to match perfectly. Anyway, the floors were what started me on the whole kick because once I had them, I wanted matching stairs, columns, doors/windows, walls, etc. Then I went to work on furniture and...here I am. *sigh*

And, in fact, I've done more wood floors which I'll hopefully upload within the next few days, if I can discipline myself to sit down and take pics...

I'm mostly found on (and mostly upload to) Tumblr these days because, alas, there are only 24 hours in a day.

I love that you took of the painted on flowers. I never used the table, because I hated them so much. This looks so much better.

Must have the seats to go with your solid colors. Bonus not having the flowers on the tables. I always tried not to look, but now I won't have to.

I love that chair, but hate putting it in any room with wood furniture that isn't pale; throws off the whole room. Now I can happily put it in EVERY room, in EVERY house!
