Thank you armiel for fixing the flaw with those much used beds. How many people in the world have noticed that issue and sighed and/or laughed with disbelief? (Hundreds of thousands is my guess.) Now the frame can be something besides white paint.

That metal thing is no matress, it's the frame where the matress rests on. If it wasn't there, the matress would fall on the floor... xD

Thats not part of the mattress - that's part of the actual bedframe; it's what holds the mattress up, instead of it falling down to the floor...

Before making more such silly comments, please open the object and it's original texture files in a mesh editor.

Jelle1,
Never.
Thanks.

(It's ok.)

ps. This upload has nothing to do with Finnington in the first place, so seeing your post made me a bit baffled.

No wonder Sims often wake up feeling horrible from that bed!

My grandmother had a bed with a metal mattress in her spare bedroom (very very old bed). It was more comfy to sleep on her concrete porch than that thing. No wonder the sims get a bad moodlet from it.

I dont know where are you from, but in my country and most of it, we only use ONE mattress, so your thing with "WTF EA" is useless, since the bed is actually like that, or you just dont realise there was a mattress there. But hey, some people may want it that way. Great job anyway!

"Hey remember when you were oblivious to this bed's metal frame thing? Yeah... we remember too."

Good job lol but now I have to dl this or this will drive me nuts. Especially since this bed is always the next upgrade I get for legacy sims (I don't like to cheat too much .3.)

I agree with juliettegossens123 and Amarise. It looks like the "lower mattress" you spoke of is actually part of the bed frame, which supports the box spring and holds it in place. And who ever heard of a lower mattress, anyhow? Why would anyone need two mattresses?

Calling this a "fix" and asking "WTF EA" is pretty inappropriate. It's the bed frame upon which the mattress rests and shouldn't be a mattress itself. It wouldn't be able to keep its shape. Calling it "alternate BRASS bed" would be better.

That isn't the bed frame or a second mattress, it's the box spring. It sits on top of the frame and under the mattress to add extra height and support, and generally looks similar to or the same as the mattress itself. No bed frame I've ever seen is THAT thick.
