I for one actually like the so-called “scary/ugly” ones much better than the cheerful /normal ones.
Great job, though.

I could technically make them the other way round too :-p But I figure for people who like the spooky ones it sorta saps the fun out of it lol

Any chance you could do a version where the paintings won't change on their own, but where we can select which version we want in buy mode, similar to other paintings that have multiple different images to choose from in the game? I have some houses where the spooky images are more fitting and others where I'd like the normal ones, but in both cases, I don't want them to change depending on the time of day.

I believe I can, ie, use nonchanging images but provide two recolors so to speak but given how many files there are to override it won't be a quick one - its not something I have time to do at the moment but I may well be able to put it together in the next few weeks :-)

I hadn't noticed that the pictures change either, but I imagine this is a cute pleasant mod for those that want it. Cheers.

I am an absolute neurotic freak and I was pretty much forced to make it and change every single cache file (and I had to go through all 25000 of them lmao) so that I could have pictures that stayed the same... Ill use the electronic photo frame if I want it to change :-p I noticed when I went to put the pink lady one on the wall and it was this ugly blue hag... and I was like, eh, the buy mode pictures wrong??? Lol, Im so daft...

Beautiful, thanks. I was also about to request a "non-default" version that extracted all of those paintings for us to choose from instead of all of them simply being good with nothing in between.

Thank you so much for this. It was a real shock when my light and lovely faerie home turned goth at night. Now the art is useful, again.

Your welcome, I knew the target market for this mod was going to be tiny but the people who wanted it would really want it as thats why I made it :-)

Bah, I think the creepy face paintings were inspired by a certain painting from "Amnesia: The Dark Descent"... which would turn from a portrait of a normal looking man, to a hideously warped face when your character's "sanity" starts cracking. but, I didn't really like that game.

Thank you for this!

huh...who knew they changed....*blonde* (and I've had the game for ages)
I now have a reason to go buy paintings again. And when the changing gets boring....I'll be back for this mod.
