Compatible with 1.63. No changes.
Compatible with 1.57. No changes.
Compatible with 1.55. No changes.
Compatible with 1.50. No changes.
Compatible with 1.47. No changes.

An XML tuning mod that forces all newborn sims to have their parents' or (if they exist) grandparents' eye and hair colour. There is no chance of a mutated colour being chosen.

As this mod alters Genetics in GameplayData, it will conflict with any other mods that do. Otherwise there should be no conflicts. Made with Patch 1.42, and not backwards compatible. Compatible with 1.47.

It only works on newborns: sims that already exist have set hair and eye colours and this mod won't change that.

Hm, just wondering, does this make it so that the Sims can't inherit a mix of the mom and dad's hair color. I currently have a two Sims, one with blond hair and the other with reddish-brown, and the child ended up with a hair color that falls somewhere between those. Would this mod prevent that from happening anymore and only allow either strictly the mom's hair color or the dad's? Thanks!

Thanks is awesome, bot do you know if there is a similar mod for skins color? I want the skins colors wixed, not simply have one color from one of the parents.

It is compatible. I've been slow to update due to RL work, but I have now checked and there are no changes.

Thank you for this! I never minded the concept of gene mutations...except that every baby is born with them. So thanks for this "fix"! :)

This is great. I did some tweaks with AwesomeMod and nraas to make service sims roll random faces instead of the identical 0 sliders face. It worked perfectly, except their hair and eyes were random colors as well. They eyes were OK, but when you asign random values to hair, it's hideous: looks like vomit brown in game and when you put them in CAS you find out their hair is just a mess of random colors that when mixed together give it that greenish brown hue. They eyes were better, because there is only one eye color to inherit, so you didn't get 4 random wild colors mixing together to get mud. But a few eyecolors were just inhumanly ugly.

I want randomg FACES -- not random colors!
