I find your comment very insensitive. A curvy girl is "way better" than a skinny one? You've got to be kidding me... Ok, I understand what you're trying to do, honestly I get it. But I think you're going about it the wrong way. It seems you're trying to promote women having a healthy body image of themselves, but with the way you've worded your statement, to me, you come across as insensitive. Like you only care about certain types of women having a positive outlook about their body/weight, that being the curvy women (your preference, apparently). Not only are you alienating the other groups of women with a different body type, you specifically target skinny women. You show no concern for their mental health and how they might come to view themselves because of comments like yours. Do you not think that there are skinny women out there who are now insecure about their bodies and are suffering from low self esteem because of statements like yours? The constant "skinny bashing" that is going on nowadays is not going to end well. All in an attempt to try and elevate the status of curvy women, which is good, but the way in which it is done is becoming detrimental. We're going to have another problem plaguing skinny women on our hands. I mean, should a naturally slender woman now try to force herself to gain weight because apparently she isn't good enough for "most guys", or at least not as good as a curvy woman? And that itself just simply isn't true, since men have many different tastes and preferences. Also, saying a skinny woman is not feminine is incorrect. Every female by definition is feminine. One can't be "more" feminine than the other, how would you even achieve that? By acquiring more vaginas? Or what?

All I'm saying is that, to say skinny women are less attractive/desirable simply to try and elevate another body type is not helping anybody, not skinny women, not curvy ones either. Tearing down other body types to make your point (the "no offence" doesn't do much, sorry) does a disservice to all women. Women are only going to feel even more pressured to maintain a certain look, and worry more about their bodies. It was this kind of mentality and reasoning that brought about Anorexia and Bulimia in the first place! You can encourage curvy women to love themselves without insulting other body types. In fact, we should be promoting healthy bodies of all shapes and sizes and that all women feel comfortable in their own skin. So please, if you really want to encourage a healthy body image view for women and help them all feel comfortable and love their bodies, don't belittle any figure, shape or size.

I was coming here to point this out but it was already said. As a curvy girl who has gone through something close to an eating disorder I can say this. Any healthy weight can be beautiful on a girl. Some girls are born thin. Some are born curvy. Talking about acceptance then saying "real woman have curves" is hypocritical and insensitive.

I've had enough guys, i was talking about anorexic girls not skinny one. If you think that anorexic girls were born like that i think the problem is in you. Skinny girls ain't sick and they won't be judged as anorexic and chubby girls. It was a way to convince them that " Healthy body " is way better than anorexic body. I fixed my text, apologized to skinny girls and i won't be sad.

It is time for this shit to stop.

The creator made these comments trying to raise awareness of eating disorders, and trying to boost the self-esteem of any readers who might happen to be stuck in the trap of believing that skinnier = more beautiful. Yes, some of the things he said had other implications which were unintentionally negative, and I have no problem with people pointing that out; but this level of hostility is totally unwarranted. Jumping down the throat of someone who is trying to convey a feminist message and accusing them of not being feminist enough, and of also not being sufficiently nonbinarist, is ridiculous: those causes aren't helped by being aggressive and hurtful to people who care enough to try to make a difference. I am really disappointed to see this kind of behaviour coming from, firstly, the MTS community, and secondly, a political community which is supposed to be defined by inclusion.

Since it seems like the majority of commenters are unable to have a reasonable, calm, constructive discussion about these issues, from now on, the only comments allowed on this download are those which specifically and only comment on the sim herself. That means no comments accusing the creator of being whateverist, and, into the bargain, no more comments about "shemales" or any other equally derogatory terms.

What I lack in decorum, I make up for with an absence of tact.

WELCOME TO MARKETING!

Think of this sim as a product you have posted and the community as your customers. You just hired Jenna Redford as your model and spokesperson for your "True Beauty Starts From the Inside" campaign against anorexia. You've hit a few roadbumps with some customers lashing out against some of the words you used in the initial marketing promo, others lashing out against the selection of Jenna Redford as the model, and others lashing out at you directly because you are a man and "have no business leading this campaign".

Sure, perhaps you should have run the initial language against a few focus groups first as it did offend some people but you corrected that but you kept on continuing with the campaign because you believe in the cause.

Sure, you are a man but can't men market things to or for women? Yes.

Anyways, I think this is a very interesting sim, a neat presentation for you campaign, and a very fun way to present it. I like it and I think it does have a good message even though others might disagree with you, the way you presented it, or the exact wording of the language.

The point is, if you learned something from this then you've gained something good. Hopefully others will learn from this as well. I hope we see more sims like this.

Lastly, welcome to marketing! It looks like you've survived it.
