Oooohhhhhh! Love this. Can you do it for the computer games thingy? Its just so obnoxiously loud that I hate them doing it and having a computer on the lot, but you don't have to do it its just a request!

I've seen that many out there feel the way maddstar does about the computer game noise. Many of them have solved it with these mods:

No Autonomous Computer Games:

The most annoying thing with the computer game sound is when it suddenly bursts at you because someone of your eight sims somewhere decided they were bored and started playing. It's the weird surprise-moment, that's kind of frightening.

I think that when you chose to play games on the computer, it will be a little too unrealistic if they were completely silent, so I think that the mods that keep your sims from doing it without you knowing it will solve most of the problem.

Do you still feel that you want to be able to play completely silent computer games?

I use the no autonomous computer games mod, but I like my sims going and playing on it by themselves, but thanks for the links I didn't know there was a obsolete version of it and the sprinklers!
But is there away to change what the sound it makes or just turn the sound down to a more respectably level? Thanks for replying so quick and helpfully!

This mod makes things more sense because these sprinklers that spray water verticley are silent in real life, while sprinklers that spray a 180 degrees are the ones that make noise. Good mod.

Thank you so, so much! I just getting into gardening with my Sim (I'm a Sims 3 newbie) and the sound drives me crazy! I keep thinking the sprinkler is another broken shower. ;D

Why don't you follow the directions in this thread and try to do the same for the computer? http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=500582 I tried to make a nocomputergamesound-mod, but I couldn't make it work, maybe you or someone else can? The thread is about how you mod sound in Sims 3, I asked in the forum and got excellent help. Just make sure you download and install .NET 4 when you install Sim3PE so you don't make all my mistakes Good luck!

Its those plant sims from university. When they walk they make that crunchy sound. Like nails on a chalkboard, it sets my teeth on edge. Could you create a mod to make it go away? Its that or the compost pile for my plant sims. Thanks.
