Thanks, this makes a bit more sense than providing a quick buffer with a worse backlash afterwards.

on a side note, i found that they will only gain energy by making a single serving for themselves. if they drink from a batch that was made it does the regular thing.

So does this conflct with any icarus_allsorts mods?

No. icarus_allsorts typically adds interactions, and the instances where s/he replaces interactions have nothing to do with this mod.

That was a problem with my coding , there's a new version that will fill it up completely, while older versions nudged it a bit.
And no, it's not a conflict.

Did your Sim get a significant energy boost from this? Did the sim drinking coffee get a 40+, 60+, or 80+ boost in energy points?

I don't use this currently (I had to buy new computer and I assume that I can't use many similar mods at once.), but the idea in itself is apsolutely wonderful. So, thank you, you mod is great!
