Your game must be corrupted for no one else has had that problem.

Do you know what might have corrupted it, would it be something that I've downloaded?

I just want to say thank you for all this work, but thank you even more for numbering them high. I had to pass on a hood (by a different creator) that I was interested in, because I already had the number she used in use. Yeah, I have a LOT of hoods. :D

This might be a dumb question but...I see there are no homes in the preview jpg, so does that mean all the sim families are in the sim bin?

Yes they are all in the bin and they have never been played before, the only thing I did was make them new in CAS and left them in the bin.

This is a very nice idea, especially since ancestors mostly look like the original Maxis ones, and they aren't corrupted. Also, EA made all playable Sims in CAS and added ancestors later, so all descedants will probably look differrent.

@marka93 I know it's been 3 years since there's been any activity here, but I'm having serious issues with this neighborhood that I have no idea how to fix. The issue is that I'm receiving this error every time I load this neighborhood from anywhere but the startup neighborhood selection screen: "Direct3d returned an error: D3DERR_INVALIDCALL! The application will now terminate." I know this is not a general problem I'm having with my game, since I've tried loading every single other neighborhood I have in similar fashion multiple times, and never came across this error. Meanwhile I receive this specific error every time I load this neighborhood from either a family, other neighborhood or a public lot. I can load between families and public lots just fine (granted that it doesn't load the neighborhood in between), but the neighborhood itself cannot be loaded without this error causing a crash. I would really appreciate it if you or someone else could help me with this, since I was really looking forward to playing this neighborhood, as I'm already quite far into a Strangetown Recreation playthrough and am really enjoying it.

To this day I have never had a problem with any of the hoods I have made or help make, I have even reinstalled Sims 2 several times since making this hood and it plays nice every time.
Your problem sounds more like a hardware/software problem to me.
With over 2000 downloads of this hood your the only one to have this kind of problem.

Maybe going and asking for help in the general help section would bring more light on the problem.

In the end I found another solution. I ended up just moving the families over to a new fresh hood instead, and now it's working fine on my end.
