Can you have more than one maid per lot? i tried placing two lights and only one saw one maid

I have icarus_allsorts Set the table and call to meal mod. A sim will set the table, and the others will immediately come to eat. The mod assigns a dish to each one, so there's no standing around, waiting for a seat. They head straight for their food. BUT, the housekeeper usually manages to run in and grab a dish before someone can get to it. He/she will leave the group serving there, even though everyone has been served. It's just the individual meal that gets picked up. Some poor child arrives at the table, finds no food, and cries. (OK, maybe he would if he was a real person.) Since I know about the over-zealous housekeeper, I watch and tell that poor child to grab another serving. It's still annoying. So if you do update this, would you please tell them to leave the food there for a minute?

I don't think you can. It doesn't give the option to hire a housekeeper if you already have one.

I did have 2 for a couple days. An old one returned, and the new one stepped outside and just stood there. He wouldn't come in while the other one was there. The old one vanished after a couple days, and the new one came back in and started working again. I'm sure that having 2 of them was a glitch, but it seemed to indicate that only one could be in the house at a time.

I have the chair instead of the light. My sims like the chair so much that it was never open for the housekeeper. I ended up buying lots of them for all over the house. I'm glad that I didn't get a housekeeper for each of them! :D

i hope one day there will be a mod who makes the housekeeper&gardener service cheapier

In case someone still wants that, you can set the cost with
NRaas Register -> service -> cost. If I remember well, the new maid from this mod appears in the services list, so you can set its wages.
