no these careers do not overwrite any other careers.

Huzzah! I love new careers! I always wanted to use my civil engineering degree with the EPA, but it didn't work out. But now my Sims can work there

Yea, working for the EPA is pretty cool, you should keep trying.

Thank you for the new careers!!! I love your old careers and often use them in my game. Hope you will go on to create the careers! Your careers are interesting!

Most of them are by request (FBI, fragrance, gem cutter, etc.) but the EPA is based upon my work and the public safety was based upon some of my volunteer work that I used to do. If you have any ideas that are interesting I will consider them when I have spare time.
