Spencer Mansion has been thoroughly tested to make sure that all traps and puzzles are working. Do not place two copies in the same world, as this could cause issues with the warp wells. Spencer Mansion is a lot to load (3 above ground levels, and 4 basements!) so it may take some time to place, so please be patient. Place time is drastically reduced if you place the lot in a small world or build world. You may also experience some lag when certain triggers go off to hide or unhide stairs similar to my experience in EA tombs. This should only last a few seconds so again just be patient.

This lot is a playable tomb with puzzles based off of Resident Evil Remaster. If you want to play without cheating you should make sure to clear your sim's inventory except for a sleeping bag/tent, some dried food, and possibly a shower in a can. Everything else you need can be found in the mansion. You will also discover food, beds, and bathrooms as you go so you should be able to take care of your sim's needs without cheats. There are only a few rooms where you can get locked in, but there will always be a way to escape by solving a puzzle within that room. There are no rooms that have no way out, and the ability to zenport is not required. However, there are many mummies throughout the mansion. This tomb will probably be more enjoyable to play with a sim with high athletic and martial arts skills so you are able to win a fight with a mummy, although this is not absolutely required.

I also highly recommend you play this tomb in a world set to have a full moon every night, and the season set to anything but winter with rain allowed for the atmosphere. I've also included a walkthrough file in case you get stuck.

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

Really nice! Not too many people make tombs; they're a bit complicated to do. It looks like a livable house to live in as well.

Thank you! I had a lot of fun building a tomb and figuring out how to translate the resident evil puzzles to what was possible in the sims. I hope you all enjoy playing it. You could absolutely rezone the mansion as a residential lot, but it might need some modifications to make it really work for a family to live in. There is only one actual bathroom (but there are all in one bathrooms scattered throughout) and 2 bedrooms.

I am thinking about making additional tombs since like you said not many people seem to make them. I have a few other builds in the works (not all tombs), but if anyone has any suggestions for what kind of tomb I should do next I would certainly take it into consideration.
