looking forward to using this.
personally, i can understand gaining fun from doing laundry. i like to watch the clothes spin through the window in front-loaders and dryers (kinda like watching the flames of a campfire) and then there's bottle racing
with a toploader, you put 2 or more bottles in the middle just before the spin cycle and see which one reaches the edge first. if you're REALLY bored, you can get roommates to join in and take bets.

Nice work, gummilutt! I never thought of the laundromat idea. Would make for a good OFB business, especially in conjunction with MogHughson's "Apartments and Shopping, on the same Lot! " mod. That could be accomplished by using the Electrono Ticket Machine, and charging by the hour, or editing the machines to charge a small fee. Just thinking out loud. =)

I can kind of understand the washer and dryer boosting hygiene. Clean clothes smell nicer than dirty clothes. But the act of doing laundry, itself, has never made me smell better... haha!

None of the recolors are mine The ones shown in pictures are the originals that come with objects, that Rebecah created. And the ones included with the autonomous version with new guid are by iCad. The ones by rebecah are built into the object, so they had to be included, and the ones by iCad would not work for the new guid so I updated them

@ gummilutt This is "Super" so great, I am a bit confuse from reading so much of everything you said ( I get that way at time if I read to much at once. ) So I need to ask a few questions please to be clear as follow:

1. Which file do I download if I want the Sims to wash clothes on their own, without me directing them to do so at home lot and they will gain cleaning skills ? With icad recolors.
2. Which File have all of Number 1 questions above that I ask, but I can also use on community lot with iCad recolors
3. Or which file contain all the features of the Sims having fun cleaning skills and hygiene with iCad recolors
I do know I can only have "one" file but which one should I get please?

All of them give cleaning skill, and all of them can be placed on community lots and residential lots. I don't entirely follow because I feel your questions go into each other, but I will try to answer.

Question 1 and 2. Both of the autonomous versions will do this. NEW GUID comes with iCad recolors, the regular one you need to download iCads recolors on her blog.

Question 3. If you want your Sims to gain hygiene, and autonomous use, then you should go to iCads blog and download her version. None of the ones I offer here give hygiene. Click here to get there. That is also where you grab her recolors.

Download the first one for use in your sims homes.

For community lots, you can download the second OR the third OR the fourth. If you do not want the sims that are using them on a community lot to gain fun and you do want the recolors without having to get them separately, download the third in the list.

So, first download the first on the list for private homes and the third download for community lots.

Hugs to you, Simonut! Call if you still have questions.

Thank you so much Simsane great I will do what you said here, will call you later sometime this week, gummilutt gave us so many choices here for sure.
Now I have to make and add a " Laundromat" for my Sims, but not in my Custom neighborhood they are all Rich Sims the washer will be in their homes.
I will make a Laundromat in Pleasantview where the Sims are not that rich.

Thanks, I just discovered these versions and updated right away. Everybody hanging out in the laundry room at home was driving me crazy.
