@ Honeywell I just need to ask you a question please first I think what you did here with the Shelves are "Great" this is so wonderful. My question is when it comes to the "animations" of the Sims reaching to pour coffee, I notice instead of the Sims pouring coffee directly into the cup they pour it into the surface that the coffee maker sat on, them they drink it. Is this how the animation suppose to be ?
And this is also with the microwave animation they reach to put food in it when it done the food pop on the counter.

Please understand I just want to know is this the way it will work, because if so yes I can gladly deal with that, because I love it but wanted to be sure that it suppose to work like that. Thank you for sharing.

Note: Sorry I have no idea why the previous post of my's is showing 2 deletion with the exact same time of day when I should only have one deleted post.

@Simonut Yes, that's the way it works; those animations can't be changed. Well, can't be changed (as far as I know) without creating entirely new animations which I'm not able to do. I'm sorry.

Thanks again for the really nice comments, all. I appreciate them. :lovestruc

Thanks so much for your reply back to me you don't have to be sorry at all, I mainly want to be sure that the animation is as you made it and if that the way it work. No big deal now that I know yes it work that way.
I love it I will have one shelf with the coffee and hot chocolate or Juicer, another with the microwave.
This really add a new element to the game and with the upcoming "holidays" ahead my Sims need the counter space to cook their large feast. lol

Hi Honeywell!
Sorry to bother you (and sorry for my jittery english!), I just found about this handy shelves for a month or so and I tried them in some apartment lots that have very tiny kitchens.
I followed the instructions for placement with 'Moveobjects' and so on.
After a while one of the appliances I had on the shelf broke (the microwave, I think) and when I asked the landlord to repair it he wouldn't do it, he just stomped on place like he couldn't reach it.
I tried switching the broken one with a new one and my sims won't even use it.
Is this a known problem? I searched for the answer but I couldn't find one.

I'm sorry, I don't why that happened or have a solution for you.

If sims can use the microwave and break it, sims should also be able to reach the microwave to repair it - I would think. Could there be an invisible stuck object in the way? That's the only thing I can think of if Sims used to be able to use the microwave and now they can't if nothing else has changed.

Oooh!
I didn't think about a stuck object...I tend to use the batbox a lot to keep my game clean but I never thought about that and I confess it's been a while since I checked...

Well this evening I tried to recreate the conditions in a clean NH and an empty lot devoid of all CC except the shelves, and played it for more than 3 sim days.
Fact was my sim could reach and grab from the shelf and could even repair the microwave!

I think I'm going to chalk it as a stuck object glitch and apartment lots can be incredibly finnicky sometimes...
I'm very sorry I've wasted your time Honeywell but this was drivin' me bonkers as I couldn't understand what was the actual problem.
Also this shelves are so useful!

Thank you for your answer!!! :lovestruc

Thanks for this Honeywell. Now my sims don't need to have a million counters in their small kitchen just to have a microwave and a coffee machine.
