I know I'm probably beating a dead horse at this point but I do think the faster skill mod was great and it introduced a tremendous level of depth to my sims 4 experience. I wanted to express my gratitude for such a great mod and I understand you have your reasons for taking it down. However it doesn't properly work with the latest version of the game and MCCC's tool to change the skill gain rate is pretty bad and limited. I do regret immensely the fact that you won't be updating this mod anymore however for me this mod has become a must if I want to continue playing with the sims. That's why if you won't work on it anymore I'd like to take you on the offer of helping anyone who's willing to develop it. I want to do it myself. I just really need this mod plus I've been interested in developing mods of my own. So if you're still offering to help it would mean a lot to me.

Hi there! Your mod is amazing and it's been a must-have mod for me for a long time. Recently, I noticed that it doesn't work for newly added skills. For example, knitting skill or acting skill. But it seems to work find for older skills such as fitness and cooking. If you could update the mod please that would be highly appreciated! Thank you

I know it must be a real pain to try and update a mod you made six years ago, but I would really appreciate it if you did. I am using an incredibly old computer to play TS4 at the moment - it runs, barely, on potato graphics, but any time my Sims level up a skill everything slows to a snail's pace while the computer struggles to handle the on-screen animation. That means this is a vital mod for me! But skills added in more recent DLCs aren't included and I would love it SO much if my Sims could knit and act without my computer nearly crashing! Please consider updating the mod if you have time? Thanks!

Sorry for the really and very late reply, I don't use this site anymore.
You can find an updated version here, as I am no longer working on this MOD:
