Fuck, you beat me to it. I've been trying to make this thing work for months. Dammit OP, I hate you so much right now!
Well my version would be different since I'll also give the whole thing a redesign...I'll release it when it's done. Here's a very early version of the 2-door.

Haha, well I've planned to make a 4 door version of this thing since 2012, but because it has special UV mapping I didn't know how to import the mesh without messing it up. Finally figured it out 4 years later. Did you plan to make it 4 door as well?

Yup, both 2 and 4 door models for the 2011 model year. They'll both have the same styling - that is, the default 2-door's rims and new front and rear bumper designs along with an overhauled window line. Plus, but I'm not sure about this, chrome letters on the trunk spelling out " y o m o s h o t o ". So how did you get the UV mapping right? Would you mind if I used your model as a base for my 4 door?

I always liked the design of this car. Very 1990's and fitting for lower-mid wealth families. Trying to replace the plate on this with my Egyptian plate is bit difficult like most EA cars, but it is great car nonetheless.

Thanks for the creation!

Well I pretty much gave up the idea of importing the mesh into MilkShape because the UV mapping keeps getting screwed up. Lucky the taxicab mesh has it's roof sign in a single group and newer version of TSR workshop has the ability to remove a group without export the mesh.
You can use all of my uploads anyway you want, as long as they don't end up on any pay site.

You just need to edit the overlay texture to replace a license plate, it's not that difficult.

Yeah, I can see it fitting in wonderfully in your world. Have you ever considered adding a layer of dust or other filth to your cars? Cars must get real sandy in Egypt.

I am having trouble getting this to show up in the catalog.

I have tried installing this both as a package (extracted with Delphy's MultiPackInstaller) and as a sims3pack (installed the normal way), and it hasn't shown up either way.

(For clarity, I have not done both at the same time or anything odd like that; I removed the package version from the mods folder before installing the sims3pack version, and I uninstalled the sims3pack version with the launcher before putting the package file back into the mods folder.

General information: my installed expansions are Late Night, Pets, Seasons, Generations, and Into The Future, though this also did not work when I did not have ITF installed or when I had only LN installed. I have gotten other custom content to work before, reliably, both in package and sims3pack formats.

File has been updated. Re-download if it does not show up for you.
