Thank you so much for making this! I have always wanted a way to leave out fresh fruit for the kids snacks, but as you said, they just don't look right setting on the counters. This will be great at dinner gatherings as well. Thank you again.

Thanks, this tray is a great idea. I wonder if it gets dirty at the same rate as the usual display and if it can be cleaned in place. Thanks again.

Ah, yes. I forgot about that. Unfortunately this tray does not have a dirty state. On the plus side, this means that it shouldn't need to be cleaned. I did try to add a dirty state but wasn't sure how to go about doing it.
If you find that the tray IS behaving as if it is dirty then please let me know and I'll investigate.
I used cheats to "Make Dirty" but nothing changed visually and there was no option to clean it.

You can't imagine how happy hearing that it won't get dirty makes me! My poor Sim is usually run ragged cleaning shelves over and over. I was getting close to putting everything on the floor just to avoid that nuisance. Losing the dirty state is a definite win!
Thanks for replying.

Sorry to report that upon further testing I have since discovered that the tray CAN in fact get dirty. There just isn't any visual change to go along with it. I apologise for telling you otherwise. I had mistakenly been testing on a residential Lot and not a retail Lot. It appears pedestals do not get dirty and cannot be cleaned on residential Lots.
I am now in the process of updating the tray so that it correctly displays a dirty texture once it reaches that state.

Updated to now correctly show a custom dirty texture once the tray requires cleaning.
