Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
The HMS Amore was once owned by Betty Buttercup in the Sims 2 for console. She eventually sold the yacht, and it was later renovated into a restaurant and cabaret. Have you ever wished to experience the leisure and luxury of a cruise ship for just one night? The HMS Amore Restaurant & Cabaret is the right place for you!

This yacht includes:
~ a dock with a community area / entrance
~ two back decks - one with a hot tub, and one with a performing area and seating
~ a restaurant with two bathrooms, three private dining rooms, one tv room and one study / quiet room
~ a juice and coffee bar with a dance floor, lounge, two bathrooms and a back room for bubble blowing.

I have taken pictures of the original HMS Amore and used them as a source to create this yacht. You can see the images in the additional screenshots

There were a couple things that I had to change for the ship to work well as a lot on the Sims 2 for PC:
- Since the pc lot lengths are limited, I had to shorten the top back deck so I could fit the whole ship in.
- In the original game, there is only one room, and no access to the bottom part of the ship, so in order to explore that area, I changed the style of the dock.

I must emphasize that this is a makeover of the yacht - not an exact replica, however I did try my very best at replicating the top room (restaurant).

Happy Simming!

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

What a great rendition of HMS Amore! lol. I didn't think I'd find anyone else making something that would be inspired from the console version of the game, lol. Your lot is so much better than the console version.

Great idea to turn it into a restaurant, and recreation place, too. Thank you for sharing! :)

In case you would be interested, I made the female pirate's outfit from that game. The pirate was not at HMS Amore, rather at the next lot, Sunset Canyon I think it was called? I always wondered why. She was dead, too, a ghost. You think she broke up with Hector and went away? then something bad happened to her for it? lol.

Thank you so much! And that's super cool that you made her outfit! I was obsessed with that game. Never thought of that Hector and Sheila theory though! Who knows... Haha :p
