Strange, I did set it as Requires Vampires. (As it is flagged up in the approval process) I'll contact a mod, since editing it seems to not be working. :/ (Thank you for pointing it out however!)

Well, the sim shows up with a big exclamation mark on it..When I removed the top, the exclamation mark on the sim was gone..Would be great if you could fix it ;-) thanx!

encountered a glitch today
this top dissappears on long distances while everything's ok if you look cose enough
(see attached screenshots)
is it possible to fix?

That might be due to the mesh not being actually available without the expansion. This does require Vampires to work from my knowledge. (I am very new at editing meshes and Sims 4 in general.)

That is really bizarre. I never noticed this before (mostly because I never zoomed out)

I did manage to recreate this (screenshot below) but I honestly have NO idea how to fix this. O.o

I might be late to the party but I know a way to fix it, the problem is related to the different LODs.
LOD0 is the one for close up and after you zoom out like you did that's the part where LOD1 is used and that's how LOD1 looks like

Will make the Forfica Mk. I suit look a ton better! That stupid necklace was ruining my design.
