This is the home I made for round 2 of joandsarah's Community Spirit Contest . For this round I chose to build for James Evans, whose sole focus is making the Sim Olympics. As a guy who is "going for the gold", there are touches of yellow/gold tones throughout the house to keep Mr. Evans inspired to his dream. James is a man who wants a modern home with a pool and at least 3 types of workout equipment, but has a budget of 35k to spend. His home is what I would consider "budget modern". This house has all the basics included (fire alarm, burglar alarm and phone) and is a one bed/one bath arrangement. No CC was used, but all EPs/SPs are installed.

Lot Size: 3x2
Lot Price (furnished): 34996

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

Thank you! Yellow is one of my fav color. I love how you placed everything. That's super fireproof/heatproof glass you got there on that fence...and I imagine the pleasant party on the roof. (party as..2 or 3 sims hanging out..yes, me is that boring.) I might already have an idea of who is going to enjoy this house!
Thanks again!

LOL, yes ma'am that is high grade, non-flammable, non-breaking glass! He spared no expense on the fence, haha. You're so welcome! I really hope you enjoy it.

So nice! What's that pond thingy with the bridge that can be seen in the top-view pictures?
I don't think I've ever seen that in my game... and I do have all the EPs

Thank you for saying so, @Moreeza
That would be a koi pond. Its the career reward for Oceanography, actually.
You can read more about it HERE and see it even better in picture 7 as well!
I hope this helps.

Oh yay, you're so welcome! I'm happy to hear that. If you don't fancy the rooftop gym, maybe it can be party space!

This house is very well decorated and really makes me excited to make a fitness Sim. I love the attention you pay to detail with simple things like the decoration "around" the koi pond and putting the flowers under the sink to "hide" the pipes. LOL! Great job and thank you! :)

Haha, yup you caught me hiding the pipes! I'm so happy to hear that it makes you excited to have a Fitness Sim! The home certainly is perfect for that. I appreciate the lovely comment, and you're so welcome - enjoy!
