Oh thank you! This has been bothering me for quite a long time. That is why I avoid using those traits.

You're welcome. The bug been around for a while. Maxis probably not going to look into it because not enough people are experiencing the bug.

The bug would randomly affect Sims. I"m pretty sure the only way not to have the bug appear onto a Sim is to never make them be romantic with another Sim. Which is just sad!

Thank you so much! I've been having the same issue lately, I made a Sim in CAS and she has never had the romantic trait, however she still is getting the "Lovelorn" moodlet. It's been causing me to go insane trying to figure out how to fix it. :D

You're welcome. Hiding the moodlet and making it have no mood affect was the only way I was able to approach the issue. I didn't want to be force to give the bugged sims The Tense Free Trait (Care Free). I'm sure no one does. The bug would affect random sims at random times.

Hey there! I wanted to say thanks a TON for this mod! You really saved me a lot of frustration. My sims even created fresh from CAS would randomly get this irritating glitch and it was driving me nuts trying to find answers or get rid of it.Your mod works like a charm. I can't thank you enough, much appreciated (:

You're welcome. The game has bugs related to moodlet and I'm sure Maxis isn't going to look into it.

I've seen this bug a couple of times on a few NPCs. Fortunately not on my playables, but I can definitely use it. Have you run across the smothered moodlet that would normally come from non committal sims who have committed to a relationship. It is happening all the time to just one sim I am wanting to use, who just happens to be a romantic, family oriented sim with a Soul Mate aspiration. I tried deleting it, but it keeps coming back. If you have something to nip that one, I'd be first in line. Thanks for sharing this bug fix!!

No, I haven't experienced that bug. Is the sim a pre-existing sim that had the non-committal trait that was removed? Did you create the sim in CAS that was assigned the trait and had it removed? Or is the sim from the gallery that had their traits edited.

It is not random. The bug would "corrupt" your household when you visit CAS in full edit mode. Counting EA QA team is not able to find anything no surprise it is not fixed for 3 years. Even if you tell them where is the bug it will still take years to fix it.

It can be temporarily resolved adding romantic trait and removing it - but everytime you visit CAS - goodbye, bug is here again.

So thank you, really useful.

Oh my god. Thank you so much. It didn't matter if the sim was newly created, created by EA, born in game, or from the gallery, every single sim I played got this stupid moodlet when NONE of them had the trait. Thank you, thank you, thank youuu!
