In my experience, no. And neither does Meaningful Stories; however MS is now broken thanks to the January patch.

Hello! Thank you for the awesome mod! I hate it when my sims keep smiling ridiculously all the time lol
I think there is a bug. My vampire sim has the no fun need and social need decay perks but the mod makes those needs drop can you fix it please?

I tried this, half out of curiosity, half because I already have other mods from you (environment, discomfort, and the fitness controls) that are top-notch. I did not expect to like this so much. Happy moments matter, indeed. What a gem. Fantastic. As a side effect it also alters the ghosts, being that instead of being white they're green unless emotional. Odd at first, but it's cool, reminds me of Ghostbusters, lol. White being the happy colour does indeed bring to mind the Platinum mood from Sims 2!

Love this! People don't default to happy so why should sims! I don't do a lot of gameplay but I keep this mod anyway because it makes when I do a lot more bearable!

With the most recent updates, career and school performance seems to not progress when using this mod. It's possible there are other conflicts but something within this mod doesn't seem play nicely right now. Possibly not required following the authors move to Meaningful Stories?
