This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
Hey, everyone. Me again!

Around a year ago, I was watching TV and saw an advert for a kitchen. This kitchen had a pet bed underneath the counter and I was in love with the idea. I tried having a go with making one with the vanilla bed, but annoyingly, it clipped all over the place and the back of my wall was covered in vines just to hide it. I bit the bullet and kept it. I've wanted to start meshing for a while, so on a whim, I've decided to create one for myself as my first mesh and after it being wanted, I've decided to upload it.

...even better? It fits all pets!

The mesh is a smaller edit of the vanilla pet bed and is a pretty simple edit, originally designed to fit under the KitchenBasic small counter but testing with vanilla, it works well as well (it sticks out a tad but is not awful). I do recommend, regardless, the KitchenBasic set to use this, but the vanilla open underneath counter works well, too.

The bed can be found in buy mode under Misc/Pets for $140. (Cheaper than the original bed because it's smaller )

Known Issues
- Sticks out a bit on some counters.
- Not exactly an issue but you need setQuarterTilePlacement or snapobjectstogrid false to place this bed.
- The counter with the bed under is unusable, trying to come up with a fix for this currently. Hold in tight!

If you find any issues with the counter, please please do not hesitate to PM me or reply to this thread! I do not want to send out any issues with this mesh.

Thanks for checking it out!

Making the counter usable should only be a matter of fiddling with the flags of the pet bed, in the init bhav. If you make it so that it allows objects and sims to pass, they should ignore it's there and use the counter normally. Though given how far out the bed is I suspect that might lead to the Sim's feet clipping with the bed, but honestly who cares. Though if you put it not under a counter Sims will walk right through it, but since it's only a mild edit of vanilla bed I imagine people can just stick to the regular one for other placements

If that doesn't work it may be the counter that needs editing, but it ought to work

Forgot to add, very nice idea I've made a few edits myself to allow pet items under counters, for households that are tight on space, but hadn't thought to put a bed there yet Will be most welcome to some of my Sims. Thanks for sharing with us!

If you have questions on how to use SimPE or WW, you're welcome to PM me.

Thanks gummilutt! I'll have a go at editing that soon. It's my first object so that didn't even cross my mind until after the upload
