No! Clean Up Pet Toys

Checked with Patch: 9/21/21 <-- No Changes needed

I don't mind if you make changes to any of these files in any of my mods as long as it is PERSONAL USE ONLY
Out of respect to me and any other modder you should not change something in their mod and upload it for others to download. It takes time on a mod regardless if its a core mod, script mod or just and XML mod. With all my mods so far, it takes time to go through the files, find what ones you want, decide where you want them, get them placed, make the necessary code changes, add new codes, and collect all of the loose ends to make even a XML mod to work properly. Plus with all mods regardless of their type, you have to test it, test test test over and over just to make sure you have all your codes in a row. Some of mine have enough code changes that I had to do a lot of trial and error just to find what ones I preferred and some had extra files that had to be tended to as well. So again: It is disrespectful, and hurtful to make even a small change in one code in any mod and upload it for others to use.
THANK YOU

Mod Updates: 9/6/20<--Keep updated with any mod changes!

What does this mod do?
Stops sims from autonomously cleaning up pet toys

Why did I make this mod?
Because my sims are obsessed with cleaning up pet toys. That's all they ever want to do. I also prefer pet toys to be left on the floor anyway. Feels more realistic.

Can we still clean up the toys if we want to?
Yes! The interaction is still user directed so you can still clean up the toys if you want.

Cats and Dogs is required, this will not give you cats or dogs or pet toys.

This mod will conflict with any other mod that modifies the following XML's
S4_E882D22F_00000019_00000000000269D3

Thank you for all of your support!

Thank you for this mod! I don't know if you take requests (ignore this if you don't & sorry for asking) but if you do, is there any plans/chance of getting a No! Clean Up Toys, I think a family home looks better with a few toys left lying around.

Thank you!!! I stop putting pet toy boxes out. I just give them a few toys. It was driving me nuts with the toy clean up. I would have the toy box in the basement and the sim would be on the second floor deciding that it would be a great time to clean the toys up. Cancel the interaction but they would still go to the basement and then I would have to direct them back to the bedroom. UGH! LOL Thank you again.

Omg thanks, the constant queuing of cleaning pet toys is driving me up the wall!

I agree that a mod like this for normal toys would be greatly appreciated aswell - I usually decorate kids rooms with toys and it's annoying to have sims constantly ruining my decorating.

It's been checked with the Dec 20th patch. I haven't played in a while so if there was another patch since then I wasn't aware of it.

This is great! I was being driven INSANE by my sims picking up the toys for their cat, because I was thinking, "Cats don't have thumbs! How is poor Taco Cat gonna get his mousey ball?" but this solves all the problems.

Random thought though; Have you considered doing a variant where only Sms with the 'Neat' trait autonomously clean up the toys? It seems like something a cleaning-obsessed person (and therefore, a Sim) would do.

Hm, it doesn't seem to work with the latest patch, I'm afraid. (I found my sims doing the clean up action spontaneously) I'll try to do some more testing, since this was working fine just a bit ago.
