Ouch, that update didn't go well for me, my loading screen loops indefinitely.
I send this feedback after only having "cyclelegs_less_mourning.package" left in my mod folder.

I am NOT blaming you, my old historical save has been tweaked and modded more than you can imagine, so I don't think it's a particularly healthy one. But it's the one I've been playing with since day one, so I can't just let it go...
I'll keep an eye open for the next update, see if it can still work in the future. I hope so to be honest, one of my sims is the "friend of the world".

Has anyone tested using this mod since the 16-4 patch? I don't want to mess up my 100 Baby Challenge save, but am getting exhausted by my kids being endlessly sad with either their siblings (whom they've never met) or their dad (also never met him) passing. I've only played once since the patch (without the mod) and already miss it a LOT.

No update was needed and I have seen no issues playing since the latest patches v1.51.77.1020

I'm just going to assume this works? I really hate how long the debuff is for people you barely even knew. I can understand the long mourning for the loss of someone in your family but a stranger and 2 days is just INSANE(especially if you use FAST aging sims).

Thank you! My founder who became a vampire made a lot of friends (completed aspirations meant he was auto becoming good friends after one conversation) so I hit the point where he was basically always sad since he kept getting calls about his good friends dying.

Haven't tried the mod yet, but it sounds promising. My sim got so many friends to finish her aspiration and also has a large extended family, so now she constantly mourns for "friends" and distant relatives she's never met

Love this mod and have been using it for years. It has finally caused its first issue for me because it hasn't been updated in a while. For me, this mod is the cause of someone dying and not turning into ghost after being taken away by the grim reaper.
