Wow. Amazing. I commend you on all the tedious work. You must be a native to have such detailed knowledge. Of the maps I have found,, downloaded and played, for free, this is by far the best. There is so much content here. I wish I knew how to do this kind of work.
For me, this downloaded and installed flawlessly.
You have made a world that I want to explore, not just use. There are a couple of minor issues and if you wish to hear about them, send me a message and I will report on them.
Right now I just want you to bask in the reward for all the time and effort you put into this

Wow, this is so nice! Thank you! It was literal years in the making, and though I'm not from New Orleans, I lived there for several years, have family there, and my husband is from there as well. So, I do know the city pretty well. Please PM with the issues you are having! I'm playing now and have seen one issue, but it's an EA issue that I can't fix. I intend on updating if I find there are some issues I can fix for people, but I'm hoping to only do that if there are several issues. I don't wanna do an update for every issue individually. Thanks again for the comment! Made my day!

Whenever I try to extract Part 2, it tells me I need a password or that the file is corrupt -I've tried deleting the file and downloading it again, but nothing I've done helps; is Part 2 necessary? Or does it have things that are absolutely required for that world?

So sorry for this late response. It is necessary as the world file was too large for one file. Not sure why it is giving that error though. Just make sure you are installing multi part files correctly. Save them to the same folder before unzipping. Check this for more tips on issues you might be having. Let me know if you are still having trouble.

I found the problem. Check the names of each zip file. They should be identical except for the part 1 and part 2. The numbers in my names were 1801356 and 1801357. Once I changed the 7 to a 6 it worked perfectly. Also, they need to be in a folder by themselves. Hope this helps anyone having this issue.

Thank you for this clear explanation @SupremeBeing. All the others were really confusing until I read yours. I probably would have just given up on this if I hadn't seen your comment... worked perfectly.

My Hero
I just wanted to say THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH for making this! I'm from New Orleans, born & raised and I cannot tell you how grateful I am that you went out of your way to make my city, this is of course my fave world, hands down...And as a city native, I think you did an amazing job! I know it might be a stretch, but if you EVER decide make a redux then can you please include New Orleans Downtown (residential, urban, "the hood", also the area that i'm from and that I still currently live in), and possibly a New Orleans East (residential, suburban, sparsely developed, still recovering from Katrina).
Thank you again for your work, you are truly appreciated love!
Much love from the 504❤
