Do you actually go along on the career like you do for the default police career?

This is a "rabbit hole" career, not a profession. So you do progress but you can't follow your Sim to work and solve cases.

All of my careers are "rabbit hole" career silvertora. To create a profession takes waaaay more skill than I have.

i think i must be missing something as i cant see the description on any modded careers, can anyone please slap in the right direction to get this to work please, i have loads of mods installed and I understand where to place the folders etc but i cant get this ones to work

Thats probably because it hasnt been updates yet since we had an hudge upgrade with sims 4, a lot of mods are broken
