I'm going with the overused - "Long time, no upload" again.

This home wraps up my current reign of terror on the round 2 foundations for a certain past contest. In keeping with the contest rules, the Walters are basically a newlywed couple who are expecting a baby soon, so this home is ready with a nursery that has some toys ready to go. It can definitely work for any newlywed - or any other configuration of Sims with some remodeling! All the basics are provided (as indicated by the aforementioned rules) and there are a couple "extras", like a nectar bar, gardening plots, a hydroponic garden and a covered bonfire area since I had a slightly larger budget of 35k to work with. This is supposed to have a bit of a country slant to it, so I hope that intent was successful. Perhaps someone will be looking for just this, haha!

Enjoy in good health and thanks for looking at one of my homes!

This home has:
  • 2 bedrooms/ 2 bathrooms (one with a shower tub and one with a shower).
  • Fire alarm, burglar alarm and phone.
  • All the requirements for the Walters - At least one fridge, stove, counter, double bed, toilet, shower and/or bath and some place to sit. For safety, at least one phone and smoke alarm. Also a small nursery with skill building toys, toybox and potty and the "EconoCool" Refrigerator.
  • Little extras like a nectar bar, gardening plots, a hydroponic garden and covered bonfire area.

No CC was used, but all EPs/SPs are installed.

Lot Size: 2x3
Lot Price (furnished): 34926

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

I love this floor plan. The blues are so calming and look great together. I love the little step up in the nursery, and that little corner for the high chair adds such a neat touch to the kitchen. Crazy about the bonfire area too. Hope you're feeling much better -- it's great to see a new Goldenhaus! ^_^

Welcome back hun! I agree with everything Liz said.
Will just add...cute single story home, good size rooms and plenty of room on the lot to expand as the family grows.

Welcome back! YES, YES, YEEES - I agree with the others. I also like that there is no wasted space used for hallways and such. You have all the bases covered in my book, Goldenbtrfly! Thank you so very much - I have really missed you so.

Will the fire-pit being covered not start (unwanted) fires?

@willow_kidd - It shouldn't be a problem. I have had covered fire pits before in-game with zero issues.
