I was just recently wishing I had something more rustic than the Maxis playground equipment! Now my farmer kids can swing on these monkey bars when they run wild in the forest behind their house.

I'm having an odd problem with the swingset in my game. When first placing the swingset on a community lot, no recolors are available and the seat and chains flash blue. If I save the lot, leave, and re-enter the lot, all the recolors become available when I use the design tool. If I then place another swingset, the recolors are again unavailable until I save, leave, re-enter and use the design tool on the swingset I just placed.

If I place a swingset on a residential lot, even if I save, leave, and re-enter the lot, no recolors are ever available and the seat and chains just keep flashing blue. The tower and monkey bars both function normally. I have all four files in the same subfolder of my Downloads folder.

I really like this set. If it can be fixed, it would look great in my mountain campground lots.

I noticed this when I playtested the swings. To my knowledge I've linked everything properly, but I've evidently goofed up somewhere. I'm sad to say that it right now would be beyond my skills to fix these type of issues ):
When I playtested the swings were fixable when re-entering a residential lot, how odd that it only work on community lots. I believe I managed to fix it by changing the color of the swing again. But I would agree that it's quite a hazzle.

I have the same problem as RoxEllen with the swing: not able to change the color and the swing seat and chains flashing blue when I enter the lot. I have solved the latter problem by just picking up the swing set with the hand tool and setting it back down. Don't even have to move to a different location. So far I have only placed them on residential lots but soon I am going to make a community park. This is a beautiful set. So much nicer than the plastic tower.
