Lemme check and see what's going wrong. It's been a while since I played The Sims 4. If any issue exists, I will try updating the mod.

I get the promotion bar filled with the yellow check, but nothing happens, stuck forever on the first job

If no other mod is conflicting / causing issues, it seems that the new updates have broken the Neia's Careers_Common package. It's been a while since any update was released on her Create-A-Career page. Sadly, even though I wish to help, this matter is out of my hands.

A quick look on Neia's latest updates for the online tool led me to this - Create-a-Career forum . I seems she's on a maternity leave, and hasn't renewed the server subscription.

Exported and updated the career for 1.89.214.1030 (Werewolves patch).

Yes, I believe the updated Neia's careers common package is also included in the zip.

I checked the recent update status on Neia's website, there's no new update put out there.
Re-exporting the career won't make any difference if there's no change implemented in the common package.

I think so the career would work for the new update as well.

Hello! I'm interested in this mod but I noticed that the creator hasn't logged in for almost 2 years now. I am looking to adopt this mod and update it for the latest patch, if that will be okay.

I dont see why that would be a problem but if you do please post I would like an updated version, also I have been using this in Crystal Creation patches and it seems to be find promotions work to.

Hello. Sorry for not being active for sometime, life happens.

There aren't any more active updates on this mod, partly due to the fact that it uses the Neia's Career Framework as it's base - and the website has been down as of now. Also, back then when I was actively checking the Neia's Career tool, there were very less updates to the base package, and hence re-exporting the career won't make a difference.

Furthermore, I haven't been playing Sims 4 for some substantial amount of time. Due to work and other directions, keeping the mod updated has taken a backseat as of now.

If you want to update it to the latest patches and make it working, not sure how without Neia updating the base package; you can go ahead.
