I always wondered why my child sims couldn't tickle other child sims. Never knew about the tell secret though. Thanks so much for this fix!!!

This sound very interesting and a new game play for sims younger children. I will try it out in my game I do have NL and OFB.
I will test and will come back to say if it work for me. thanks for sharing.

My game only go from Base through Seasons, I did a short quick test: I went into a Sims house with one child and had the child
call one of her friend over. When the child friend arrive, I send the child out to greet her visiting friend, the greeting never happen
because the visiting child sims kept moving away from the Sims that invited her over and was heading away.

I use a mod to make the visiting child enter the house. Once inside I let the child who live on the lot talk to her visiting friend by
starting with chat, share interest and joke. Then yes the option soon came up for tickle and tell secret, I then selected ( Mod again ) the visiting child to do the same thing
and yes she also Tickle and tell secret. It seem to work with the EPs I have. Now I don't know why the greeting each other did not work. I had to use a mod to control
the visiting Child Sims other wise she would keep moving away to leave.

Young children have so few chances to interact or time to play with their friends because something always sends them home. Even attending a wedding or other family event they tend to leave early even when their parents are staying hours longer. Thanks for fixing this flaw in interaction.

I have compared resources from different game versions and I can tell that:
The ticke interaction fix needs OFB or any newer EP, or any SP (except for the Holiday pack/stuff), since the changed resource isn't present in any older EP or the base game.
The tell secret interaction fix needs Pets or any newer EP, or TS or any newer SP, since the changed resource has different format in older EPs, older SPs and the base game. That also means it is possible to create the pre-Pets/pre-TS-compatible version of this mod if it's needed.

Yes the sims 2 is no longer being updated by EA, so without the mod, the interaction won't work like before

Thanks for this! Will gratefully snap up the Tickle fix. <3 Children sims need all the content they can get. Sadly, although I have the disc for Seasons I can't get the game running when I have it installed, whereas everything works perfectly for me up until Glamour Life Stuff. Would love a compatible Tell Secret fix, but I doubt there's many people in my situation so won't hold my breath!

Sorry, but I'm pretty sure tell secret interaction was introduced in freetime, which was made after seasons.

The option definitely does show up for me (and also Gossip between adults and children which behaves similarly buggy.) I assume Tell Secret would work fine between siblings though haven't had the opportunity to check that.

Out of curiosity, I gave your Tell Secret fix a try but unfortunately my game crashes before I can get to the neighbourhood select screen with it in my Downloads folder.

First time seeing the Tell Secret animation though in the attached pics. Didn't realise it was slightly different to Gossip's. Strange how rarely you see two children as part of the same household.

Please don't feel obligated to sort something for my specific EP configuration. The Tickle fix works perfectly and I'm very happy to have that alone. Maybe trying to fix Tell Secret for my game can be my own first foray into modding.

Sorry I don't know why tell secret doesn't work for you. Maybe they changed the code in an EP, and then things got wonky. If you have simpe, you could always try to fix it yourself. I think I just checked the box that enables it for visitors in the pie string for tell secret.
