Due to a bug in the Get To Work Scientist Career, players have been unable to complete the daily task "Transform some Grass" because the "Transform" option was missing from grass.

This was kinda fixed in the 1.72.28 update. However, the "fix" changes it so you can only "Transform" grass at the Science lab, while ALL OTHER transform interactions work everywhere.

This mod adds the action "Transform" to grass so it works everywhere.

Compatibility:

This works with the latest Sims 4 patch 1.82.99

This mod is incompatible with any mod that changes the following Tuning file:

E882D22F!00000003!000000000003FA1E.simRay_Transform_Object_ScientistVenueGrassOnly.InteractionTuning.xml

Install Instructions:

Simply place the package file into your Sims4 mods folder.

Bugs:

None.

Changelog:
2.0 Redesigned for patch 1.72.28
1.1 Updated for patch 1.63.133
1.0 Initial Release

Awesome! I've had days where the 3 tasks were something like "Clone a Sim," "Make X Elixir (that you don't have the ingredients for)," and "Transform Some Grass." Yeah, grass wouldn't transform, I can't get the ingredients right now, and clones end up in your household. What am I supposed to do with a random co-worker who has a 50-50 chance of being Evil?

Yea, one of the first things I do when I get into the career is plant a bunch of stuff at the lab that I'll need for potions, roses, basil, carrots, mushrooms, spinach, daisies, etc. That way by the time the requests come up for the potions, all i need to do is harvest and brew them up.

You're welcome! It's a severely simple fix. One line added to a tuning file. It's obvious where it's missing. I'm amazed they haven't fixed it yet.

Just letting you know that this mod keeps the Scientist job task of transforming grass from being completed now. Once I took out the mod and got the task again, I was able to complete it.

Version 2.0 should work just fine. Re-designed it and how it works.
