I love the idea of this mod! It sounds amazing.

HCDU is showing conficts with two mods I use and love, Harder Jobs from MATY and "Lower job promotion chances" by Lamare:

If I'm understanding the mod description here correctly, maybe it simply replaces Harder Jobs so I could just take that one out. And maybe it does basically the same thing as Lamare's mod but in a different way?

Edit: Actually, it looks like this really does not replace Harder Jobs, at least not in its entirety; from the RTFM:
Quote:
Makes standard jobs harder: Uni graduates no longer receive automatic L8/L9 start and upper-level jobs have limited numbers of openings. Also includes pay and recognition fixes for TS2OFBp2 "Owned Business" jobs.

Can I safely use both together or will one mess the other one up? That upper-level jobs having limited openings part is pretty important to me and my playstyle.

Hopefully, this doesn't conflict with anything I have, because I like the idea if this. I'd love a sister mod that does something similar to school performance.

Suggestion: Why not give teens who reach level 3 in their job and who grow up to be adults a lvl3 job or so in their career as a little bonus?

As much as I love the concept and many features of this mod, I'm going to have to pull it. For my own real life sanity I'm trying to cut down on the number of unresolved conflicts in my TS2 game. I don't even know what a high-class/low-class lot is in this game either.

Seems that no matter what I do, or how well a mood my Sim is in, she can't get past level 2 of her Gaming career :/ and it's been a whole Sim year+. Gonna have to take this mod out.

I really like the idea of the Job mod, making it a little harder to reach the top One question though: how does promotion work with Cyjon's Edukashun Iz Gud ? The HCDU does not give any conflict, but both affect promotion odds: with Cyjon's mod, a Sim that did not go to university and did well in school could get promoted up to level 5 (100% odds), and afterwards the odds of getting promoted are reduced to 10%. With your mod, does this same Sim have 25% of getting promoted up to level 5, and then 25% * 10% (2.5%), chance? Or does this Sim still have a 10% chance? I got the feeling that I might need to tweak some numbers

Are there any real conflicts with jobfixes by JMP?
I'd like keep them both to make sure I get all fixes and features but I don't want to end up with game issues.

I don't think you've ever made a bad mod. Maybe one I don't wanna use, but I guarantee all of them are excellent. The only downside is the amount of time it takes downloading your mods along with tons of mods made by tons of other wonderful, extremely talented people on this website and elsewhere. For some reason, Sims mods blow me away more than mods for other games I mod, such as Minecraft and Bethesda RPGs. Maybe it's just because of the kind of game The Sims is.
