I can't get this mod to work. Whenever I try to make my sims duel, NRaas ErrorTrap resets the sim I am currently playing as and generates a script error (which I included as it might be helpful to figure out what's wrong.)
Both sims are level 10 in Martial Arts and I do have the animation pack linked in your description and I installed it correctly as I can play them using Animation Player.

Strange. It should be working, from what I've tested. Try to download these DLLs: https://github.com/Chain-Reaction/N.../Sims3/Compiler
Just download them and put them in a folder.

I have downloaded all of the DLL files in that link you posted. What do I do with them?

I've already tried it with the animations and it works, it's incredible! Could you translate it into other languages? I have tried with S3PE but I could not, my game is in Spanish.

Just put them in any folder. If this still doesn't work, are you using the self-interaction or the one with other sim? The self-interaction doesn't work correctly.

It unfortunately doesn't work. I even tried removing all mods (except ErrorTrap, this mod and the animations) including most CC and it still won't work. And yes, I'm using it on the other sim.

I think that, thanks to @Battery help, I've figured out what the problem is. I seem to have forgot that the mod requires a social jig which comes from supernatural to function. I'm going to put it into the mod description right now.

No, the spar animation will function normally. This is a completely new interaction using the code from the Spar as a base.

After some testing, I'm very happy with this! It's perfect for some of my worlds, and I found out the animations even work with some two-handed items like a staff or big hammer. If it's possible to assign the interaction only to sims who do have the Martial Arts-Skill (similar to Spar), I think that would be preferable, but I get it if that doesn't work. Sounds of some type would be good, but it's great without them, too. With a Duel to the Death being a possibility in the future, I'm very much looking forward to everything that's to come, and have to commend you for the effort you made to make this possible. Thanks!

Has anyone else been unable to extract the file from the .rar? I tried using 7-Zip to open the archive but got an error message. Is this a problem on my end, do I need to use a different extractor?

I love this! Is there a way to tune this to actually automatically have them have a sword of choice in hands so you don't have to add them manually. It would be awesome if the had them in their inventory for instance and they pull them out whenever they start dueling.

"Using Master Controller, add to them a Martial Arts outfit using a sword" can you spend a couple of words on how to do it? it's not so obvious, I don't have any animation, the sims stay one in front of the other and then one win with no movements at all

Random issue:
- Mod installed
- Animations installed

- 3 sims in household, all have Martial Arts skill
- 2 are male (actually, male SimBots)
- 1 is female witch

- all 3 can and do duel
- HOWEVER: the 2 male sim bots are able to initiate duels, while the female witch is not (she has no "challenge..." action available when clicking on either of her housemates).

- Any ideas on what gives, here?

Do you think there's any problem caused by another mod there? I just tested the situation you described, creating a female witch and seeing if the Challenge... interaction appears correctly on other sims (both normal sims and a simbot one) and in both situations everything came out correctly.

It's certainly possible. There are quite a few mods on this install. None of them involve sim interactions, though, as far as I'm aware (mostly just items/patterns/CAS), other than the ones that are honestly needed to make the game playable [overwatch, MC, debug enabler]). I'll start pulling what I have out of "packages" one-by-one and see what I can see. If I can nail down a specific conflicting mod, I'll let you know.

That is cool (saying as historical European martial artist)! If I would found HEMA gear for sims somewhere I would try it.
