This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.

Bakies The Sims 4 Custom Content: Unlocked - Wooden Fences

Unlocked - Wooden Fences
On the thumbnail and in the video of my former custom content, the Flowers + Bumblebees, you might already saw the wooden fences.
In those cases it were the debug versions, which can all be found after activating the showliveeditobjects cheat code.
These debug versions have some big disadvantages though, which I tried to solve with my versions.

First of all, this pack consists of 6 different fence objects. Besides 5 fence options, there's also one fence post object.
This one can be used to begin or end a fence the right way, or to make some sort of custom fence by adding more fence posts in between.
For all 6 you can choose between 26 recolors. Those 26 can be divided into 13 normal recolors and 13 weathered versions for each of those recolors.

Where your Sims will be able to walk straight through the base game debug wooden fences, they will walk around my versions like they should do.
To make making long fences as easy and fast as possible, I've enabled 'repeat placement' for all of the fences. They can also be placed on sloped terrain, so if the terrain is a bit uneven for some reason, the game is not going to tell you they can't be placed.
Another thing I made possible, is placing them against or right through walls. This can come in handy if you want to attach the fences to your farm house or want to close your barn with a wooden fence in the door opening.

To add more realism to a fence (or at least to it's surroundings), I've also added multiple small deco slots to 5 of the 6 fences. This makes it possible to add some of my Animated Bird mods on top of them, like the crows or pigeons.
If you want to use gates in combination with these fences, You need to activate the moveobjects on cheat first, otherwise the gates can't be placed as the fence isn't created with the fence tool. Also use of the ALT-key when placing is recommended for precision placement.
All of this can also be seen in my showcase video together with a nice farm example in which I used multiple of my former mods and these new fences.

Object information:
These mods only require the Base Game.
They're Standalone Objects, so they won't override any other objects in game.
To easily find them, type "Wooden Fence" into the search bar.
You can also find them by going to: Build Mode > Fence Gates and scrolling all the way down.
They can be recognized by my "BakieGaming" icon in the lower right corner of the thumbnail.
The cost are: 5 Simoleons

Game Requirements:
Base Game compatible

Game Version:
Tested with gameversion: 1.62.67.1020

Custom Content visible on the Thumbnail made by me:
Animated - Flowers + Bumblebees
Animated - Placeable Birds - Pigeons

Another excellent addition / improvement to the game. I think I'll try to recreate a couple of the scenes from "The Birds" with these.

This looks very interesting. The first thing that popped into my head was how much I wish EA would bring back horseback riding.
