Great idea, would've never thought of looking for a mod for this problem, but it has always annoyed me how ungrateful my Sims are :)

Super idea and brings more realism to the game. Most people do not show disapproval when they receive an unwanted gift. It's called good manners! My children were taught at an early age how to say thank you even when they do not like the gifts they get. This mod brings a refreshing mood into the game. Thank you for sharing this with us!

Thank you so much! I tried giving my sim's ex her mail by a gift after she moved out before getting it, and she was so rude about it :c So glad this mod will fix that!

Awesome. Just the other day my sim gave an expensive gift and the person got all miffed and upset my sim. Like okay, sorry I spent that much money to get you something, thanks for ruining Christmas! I appreciate this mod. Thank you.

Like others have said this is much better thought out than what Maxis did. Thank you for this small but significant improvement.

I've only had this happen at least once, but when I did, I was like "What?"

Thanks in advance for making this, I'll try it out later. (UPDATE: Just tested this, and while it took several tries before I triggered an unwanted gift, it worked! )

P.S. - I wonder if it would be possible to have a version of this where it's still possible to get the usual rejection response from Sims with the Evil and/or Mean-Spirited Traits? Or would even they be grateful for a gift from someone they actually trust?

I'm sure it's possible but I'm completely new to modding and I'm having trouble getting that function to work as of now. Once I become more familiar with how the coding for TS4 works, I'll definitely try to add a second version that excludes the mean and/or evil trait, until then, if anyone who's better at modding than me wants to give me some tips or give it a go themselves, they're totally welcome

I tested it and from what I can tell, it still functions. If you have any issues with it though, let me know and I'll update it!

Thank you, this will be very helpful for my 'creative' sim that knits constantly and makes the little figures on the woodworking table. Her family will not be disappointed!
