PLEASE NOTE: There was a problem with the first package. It has been fixed as of May 19, 2020, 10:45 pm EST - please redownload if you have the original file. I'm sorry for the inconvenience! Your game will not explode with the old file, but you won't be able to enter the house either. Ooopsie!

The forty-ninth house in my "1920s Series" - inspired by 62 Beautiful Vintage Home Designs from the 1920s - is the "Crowder," another English Colonial style Cottage that is a bit more 'rustic' in feel. It's "6 Rooms and Bath" include three bedrooms, living, dining, and kitchen - and also a full basement. I've included a driveway with parking for one vehicle, and there is a decent little patch of yard - just enough for a pretty rose garden

This is a "Corner Lot" - meant to be placed at a crossroads/intersection in your neighborhood.
This lot has been adjusted with Mootilda's GridAdjuster to have a cute little 1-click foundation.
AND it has a No-Slope basement - thank you again, Moo!
It is also Big Dog approved (Thanks to Shasta and Huge Lunatic.)

I am really NOT a fan of the EA-awnings - I hope you can find CC awning that are more suitable (or just leave them off, like I did on my permanent copy.)

Please scroll through all the above pictures to see everything this house has to offer. Furniture includes a double bed, a nightstand with an alarm clock, two closets, a chaise, coat-rack, and a dining set. All appliances, plumbing and lighting are included. The telephone is located in the front hall. The front door is burglar alarmed. The range and both fireplaces have smoke alarms.

This is a clean copy of this house/lot; no sim has ever lived here. The package has been cleaned with Mootilda's Clean Installer. Pictures were taken with Invisible Fire Alarms in place, but the lot is packaged without that mod. So, you will see the fire alarm over the range in the kitchen and over both fireplaces - in the living room, and upstairs Master bedroom.

There is parking for one vehicle on the driveway.

CC list - used but NOT included - so, GO get it:
- Unlevel Wall - #90 by Numenor @ MTS2 - used to fix wonky wall issues. Some people weren't sure how to install this wall... Click the info button down below to see how I did it
- Lifestyle Build Bundle - It's the second link in the top post - extracted from Lifestyle Stories by Argon @ MATY. Many of the wallpapers used in this 1920s series come from this bundle.

...and I highly recommend getting:
- Invisible Smoke Alarm by pfish @ MTS2

Custom Content by Me:
- Balustrade/Steadfast Stair REC - Brown by Chrissy/redone for HL's Recolorable Balustrade/Steadfast Stairs by Me

Custom Content Included:
- Balustrade/Steadfast Stairs - made recolorable by Huge Lunatic (HL) @ MTS2 - No script file needed for these as these override the original stairs.
- Balustrade/Steadfast Stairs - Open Underneath by HugeLunatic (HL) @ Sims2Artists - these do need a script file so follow the link and make sure you install them properly!
- Simple Passage Modular Stairs by Huge Lunatic (HL) @ Sims2Artists - these do need a script file so follow the link and make sure you install them properly!
- Mauritania Arch Add Ons by Leesester/LeeFish @ MTS2
- Colonial Fireplace - without chimney by mia86 @ MTS2
- Paneled Doors and Windows Colonnade Doors/Windows Set by Raynuss (RDN) @ SFS

Standard mods I use that are not necessary nor included - but were probably used whilst building/photo-ing/prepping this house for upload...
If you need help installing Numenor's Unlevel Wall #90, click this info button:

I use Niol/Moi's Roof Shader for brighter roofs
And, HW/Honeywell's A Little Greyer: Roof Trim Defaults
Then, if it's a Bespoke Roof recolor - it will be THESE adjusted versions by The Llama Park/Tumblr that you see used in the pictures.
(However, what you get in the packaged file, will either be the plain EA roof or the straight, un-modified Bespoke roof from the set here on MTS2.)
Maranatah's White Wall Top texture replacement
Moo's Turn On/Off Lights
Menaceman's Lunatech Lighting Fix
BeosBoxBoy's no-red-pause-mod
Nopke's Go Under Spiral Stairs mod for proper spiral stair usage
And, of course, everyone needs Numenor's CEP and SEP!
I also use FRAPs to take in-game pictures, and PhotoShop to clean/collage said pictures.
And, I highly recommend using gummilutt's Invisible Medicine Cabinet to add features to any mirror - as per her policy, it's not used or included in this lot.

Lot Size: 2x2
Lot Price (furnished): $52,031

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

Thank you
...and you are welcome!
This house has a completely different type of basement than the others - for this one you need to use Moo's Grid Adjuster (linked in the OP) ...and she has tutorials on her post explaining how to use it. Good Luck!

Omg. Those closet nook in pink room is creepy! I know it's just a game, but everything happens if you fit it to reality! It's worst kids nightmare! and also it's visible from every point of the room. You probably know that, cause you have kids too. I should add here a door, cause original house has it, and keep it closed.
Ty for your series. Vic ^_^

Vic - Creepy? Really? ...well, I guess if monsters live in your closet? I was thinking when I built that closet around the stairwell - what fun it would be if I was the little girl who lived here, because that would be my secret realm back in there. Not to mention that it butts up next to my little brothers room so I can terrorize him in the night without Mom and Dad knowing about it... Wait! I see! Are you a little brother, Vic? Did something scratch/knock at your wall in the night? Mwa-ha-ha-ha

I love this one, especially that little nook. I can imagine a secret doorway into the other room too And after all these years I've finally downloaded the grid adjuster - gotta have a go with it now!

Oh! What fun that would be

I recommend learning the GA in an empty/new game. You will be exiting/restarting the game countless times! Follow Moo's tutorials and you'll do great - count the grid lines, not the squares. Have fun!
