I don't know much English, so I used a translator to describe it. I'm sorry about that

This is a simple program for easy translation of mods for The Sims 4.

Reading the comments on various sites, it seems that many people misunderstand the essence of the program.
The translation must be done manually.

  • The translation of mods can be saved in dictionaries, which saves you from re-translating if new versions are released.
  • Saving the translation as a separate file, or adding it directly to the mod.
  • Saving translations from multiple mods to a single file.

Usage Instructions:
  • In the settings, select the languages you plan to translate from and to.
  • Open the mod (*.package)
  • Translate.
  • Save the dictionary if you plan to edit the translation or are going to translate new versions of the mod.
  • Save the translation in a separate package or save the translation immediately in an open mod (finalization).
  • Profit.

Install Instructions:
This is a standalone application and does not require installation.

Interface languages:
- English
- Russian
- Chinese (by Tina.)

If you are experiencing startup problems (error "ImportError: DLL load failed"), try installing Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019

Basic Download and Install Instructions:
1. Download: Click the File tab to see the download link. Click the link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.
2. Extract: Use WinRAR (Windows) to extract the file(s) from the .rar or .zip file(s).
3. Cut and paste the file(s) into your Mods folder
  • Windows XP: Documents and Settings\(Current User Account)\My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods\
  • Windows Vista/7/8/8.1: Users\(Current User Account)\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods\
Need more information?
  • Anyone can use both .rar and .zip files easily! On Windows, use WinRAR.
  • If you don't have a Mods folder, just make one.

You need the program to run in properties. in compliance, select run as windows 7 or what you have, for example, win 10. It should help. You can also run this program as an adminsitrator.
After checking the compatibility option, the program will start to run correctly.

i got the latest version. However, whenever i click google translate it would always be ENG to ENG... Can you tell me how to fix this, please?

Is there a way for you to add progress of our translations?
For example, in the bottom left corner there could be a percentage percent of our translation that compares all strings with the ones that are marked as finished.

Hello, when trying to open if there are for example event mods in the dictionary the program does not open, if I remove the folder or the dct if. How much does it admit in dictionary?

Why I can't get my translation work in game? Do I have to do something else than save it in package file and drag to mods?

Hello, its a really nice tool, I would like to know if you can help me with a problem, what happens is that the mod that I translated is divided into different modules, for example, a main one, "body" .. And several extensions such as "hair" "legs" "arms "etc etc each one of them has its own text and they are part of the same mod, so I would like to know how I can combine all the translations (almost 4 .package files) into 1 only, is this possible? ... Or I must have 1 translation for each extension of the mod? ... Thank you.

I have the choice to do it, but after selecting everything, nothing happens for me.

I encountered the same issue but only with 2 of 3 packages is tried to translate. One could be saved as STBL without any problems. The other two show the same behaviour and do nothing with this option selected. It could be related either to the count of strings translated (the one, which works fins are only 11 lines) or to the original author of the mod (the two which wont work, are from the same author, and it was set to ENG -> ENG, the one, who did not make problems was set ENG -Y RUS, so maybe thats the real issue?). But at least, the translations are saved in the package for my personal use and for the moment, thats enough for me.

No. You do that in Origin. You can also use Registry Editor if you're using windows.
