Can you also spare with NpCs that are not in your household and dont have a lightsaber in their inventory.

Hey, thanks for checking it out! I believe you can, but they have to have a lightsaber in their inventory. I'm not sure if the game ever generates NPCs with Lightsabers already equipped outside of Batuu, so you might want to travel there with some townies to obtain the lightsabers.

I think adding an interaction to gift a lightsaber to an NPC would be a good idea, since I almost always end up with spares in my sims' inventory. I'll work on it for the update!

Oooohh thank you thank you! I was just talking about this a few days ago, how I wished lightsaber activities and playing sabbacc were choices for clubs, because I wanted to create a "Jedi Order" club and a "Scoundrels" club for my game. On to creating that Jedi Temple now! :D

Hey Ryûchan, thanks for checking the mod out, glad you enjoy it too Actually adding Sabbac as a club activity is a great idea, I'll add it to the list of features to work on for the next update.

I've just released an updated version on my Patreon, it includes the new "Gift Lightsaber" interaction as well as the "Play Sabacc" club activity for all of your Star Wars roleplay needs

You don't have to get it there though! It'll be in early access for a bit, but I'll upload it here publicly next weekend. Thank you for your feedback and suggestions!

That all sounds really good and I can't wait to try it all out, a question about this mod though:
does it only work for family members/active household somehow? Or is there something in my game interfering?

I've made a jedi club and all that, sent my sims out on a gathering and the other members (those not in my household) showed up, all fine, but... I can only choose the lightsaber options on sims in the active household, the other members had the option grayed out and claimed that they did not have a lightsaber. Which is definitely wrong, because I've played those sims before (they each have a favorite lightsaber).

That sounds really strange Ryûchan! While testing the latest version of the mod with the "Gift Lightsaber" interaction I was able to challenge even tottaly unplayed sims to a duel after giving them a lightsaber. Perhaps the inventory contents for played sims in inactive households is somehow handled differently by the game, I'll have to look into this. Thanks a lot again!

Um, I'm sorry, I'm not sure what you mean by sending you my save game.

But anyway, haven't had the opportunity to try the sabbacc option yet, but I did try out the lightsaber one quite a bit.
And in my game, well, despite the fact that all five (two of which are not members of my active household) have their own favorite lightsaber, the option does not come up because "this sim does not have a lightsaber". So I tried the gift-giving option, and THEN the lightsaber options appear and my little club was happily training away.
Cue the next meeting, and the options are once again not there, because "this sim does not have a lightsaber" - so the only way to get this to function for me would be for my active sims to give the other members new lightsabers every single meeting they have.

It might be something in my game that interferes somehow, if this doesn't happen to anyone else. I also couldn't start the club meeting directly from my home lot (you know, through the button in the club panel), because once my sims had traveled over to the "Jedi Temple" lot I've set as their base for the club, I kept getting error warnings - it worked if I instead went directly to the lot and started the club there, though. So yeah, there's something odd going on with my game and I suspect I have a tedious 50/50 run-through to look forward to, even though everything should be alright. In theory. :P

Oh, so it sort of "resets" when sims leave the active lot, that's peculiar... Another avenue to check out, thank you again for the details!

Thank you so much for the sabacc option! I'm not so much looking to make a Star Wars club as a typical fantasy adventurers party, who spends their downtime going around taverns drinking and gambling their money away. This is perfect for such a scenario (haven't tested if it works yet but if I don't post an update then you can probably assume that it did :D).
