Default A big Thank you!
I created an account simply so I could say thank you for this beautiful, perfect world.
I'm a Sims 3 girl. Two main reasons. Horses and scuba diving. I fell in love with Sunlit Tides, the lighting is breathtaking. But it didn't have dive spots! Now, thanks to you I have the perfect world to spend time in. After all these years of playing Sims since Sims 1! So grateful... thanks for creating this special place for me.

i've noticed that on some lots if sims go to a basement area, they're not able to get back to the ground floor they just walk up the stairs and then turn around and go back down when they reach the top.

This can happen if the staircase has bug. Usually this error occurs if you have made a single staircase from the foundation to the basement.
The game allows you to make a staircase either from the foundation to the ground level or from the ground level to the basement. If you use cheats to combine these two staircases into one, this error may occur.
That's why there are no lots with a "foundation plus basement" in the city.
Every lot in the city with or without a foundation or basement was checked for correct routing and found no errors.
Please let me know exactly in which lot you are facing this problem.

it happened on the festival lot (which for some reason doesn't have a proper name it's just ___"______" is there a reason for that?) and on one of the residential lots, i think it was one of the "tropical ranchero" ones.

I'm still loving this world, just now starting checking out the dive lots and they are beautiful. I wondered if I could ask a really dumb question though. Are there are any scrap spawners/junk piles on the island? I was thinking about making my sim an inventor but couldn't find a junkyard lot so he could gather scrap. I tried to check in edit town and using Master Controller's object focus but couldn't find anything. I don't know if that's because I'm missing something incredibly obvious, or if an island this beautiful doesn't have a junkyard (because it wouldn't fit the feel of the island)? Thank you for any help.

Hi! Thank you very much!
Unfortunately, there are no junkyards in Sim-Tropico... Sorry I missed it...

Thank you for replying. I really hope you don't feel I was criticising as honestly (to me) a junkyard wouldn't fit the feel or aesthetic of the island so it feels right that there isn't one. However I know creators are way more inventive than I am so I didn't know if you had disguised one somewhere and I had missed it. There is so much detail and creativity in the lots that I've only properly explored a tiny proportion of the island so far. Thank you again for your hours of hard work.
