To Make it Clear: XML Injector is required to run the mod in its complete state.

Update 08/06/2021: I think I've found the source of the problem people were having with the new BED mirror buffs - basically, I cast my net too wide. See if it works for you guys now, or at least stops bringing up exceptions!

Update 07/06/2021:
  • There shouldn't be any lingering exclusive-glitches or custom emotions in the non-mood-pack version of the mod anymore!
  • The continuous loots for Sims with BED should now be more consistent in when and under what circumstances they appear.
  • The way 'purging' works for Sims with bulimia has been modified. The nausea/Rumblings moodlet will now appear after they eat, and they can now be directed to throw up at any time, at the player's discretion. (That is, the ability to do so is always on.)
  • Sims with Anorexia and Bulimia now have unique responses to having their weight complimented by one of their peers. It's the same set of responses whether the interaction succeeds or fails, but the failure is weighted more towards a sad buff, while the success is weighted more towards a happier buff.
  • The buffs for Sims with EDs and the Refined Palate fame quirk have been modified.
  • Buffs for pregnant Sims with EDs have been modified to take them into account.
  • Caveat: I also attempted to adjust the moodlets related to cravings, as featured in Lumpinou's Woohoo Wellness Pregnancy Side-Effects add-on; the buffs have definitely been changed but for some reason I haven't seen them show up organically in any test runs, and I can't tell if that's because of said modifications or because I happen to have really bad RNG. This is something I will continue to look into, but for the moment, the code is definitely there, it just might not activate all the way.

Let me know if there's anything you want added next, and/or if it doesn't start working for those who have been having problems with it.

-----------------------------

I am aware that there is many an excellent Anorexia/Bulimia/BED trait out there in the Sims 4 modding community, but I still wanted to see if I could interpret it decently on my own end. In addition, Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder is something I haven't seen covered much, and as someone who has it I'd like to expand that potential for representation. If there is any insensitivity present in the buffs and interactions of this mod that haven't been caught by the initial moderation pass, please let me know and I will do my best to fix it.

Whims:

Occasional Buffs:
  • Need to Puke / Rumblings - Uncomfortable +1 (Bulimia)
  • A Spot of Heartburn - Uncomfortable +5 (BED - activates after a certain amount of exercise; intended to automatically make the Sim fatigued but I'm not sure how well this works)
  • Midnight Snack - Happy +2 (BED - activates close to midnight if the Sim happens to be awake at that point)
  • Look at Yourself - Insecure/Sad +2 (BED - appears during specific mirror interactions)
  • Cake! - Excited/Happy +2 (BED - intended to appear when grabbing cake)
Effective Skill Modifiers:
  • Gourmet Cooking, Cooking, Baking: -3 (Anorexia, Bulimia)
  • Thinking: -2 (Picky Eater)
Decay Rate:
  • Hunger naturally decays 1.2x faster (Anorexia, Bulimia, BED)
  • Vampire Thirst naturally decays 1.2x faster (Bulimia)
  • Hunger increases 0.4x faster (Anorexia)
  • Fitness (Fat) increases AND decreases 0.6x faster (Anorexia)
  • Body temperature decreases 1.4x faster (Anorexia, Bulimia)
  • Oral Hygiene decreases 1.6x faster (Bulimia)
Autonomy Changes
  • All food-related things, including Gourmet Cooking and Homestyle Cooking skills - 0.3 (Anorexia)
  • All food-related things, including Take Pizza - 2 (BED)
Proximity Buffs:
  • Sims with ARFID trait around Sims with ARFID or Picky Eater traits - Happy +3
  • Sims with ARFID trait around Foodies - Embarrassed +1
These traits do not affect relationship or career increase rates, nor career performance.

For a list of things to do/fix, go to this pack's Trello page here! The recovery system is the next major order of business.

Note that the traits Foodie and Glutton are only present in the metadata in order to make the trait conflicts function properly.

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

I have downloaded it but the traits aren’t showing in CAS, nor when I age up my sims and I’m not sure why. The mod looks amazing and I’m really looking forward to being able to add that level of realism to the game, please let me know if you know why this is happening. I downloaded the right thing and I have the XML injector so I’m not sure why it isn’t working. Thank you!

I've tried everything to get this mod to work, when I load the sims it doesn't show up in the list of my mods. I have everything required for it to work. I really hope it'll work for me one day because i was really excited to find this one since other ED mods are unrealistic or bugged.

Default Possible Compatibility Problems?
I've never left a comment on here before, so forgive me if this is in the wrong place.

I love these mods, but it seems like there's a compatibility issue with mods from another creator (YourFalseHope on Patreon). Y'all's mods run fine when I have one or the other in my game, but when there are both, YFH's traits work at full capacity, and yours seem not to work the same (only show one or two moodlets, if that). And I definitely can't have a sim with traits from both of y'all, that causes the moodlets to act super weird. Just thought I share in case others with mods from both of y'all are having issues and can't seem to figure out why.

@ All: Apologies for the delay in responding to questions and updates about this and the other mod: I had to uninstall the game for a while to save on disc space for important projects, as well as take an emotional break, seeing as there were some errors that kept persisting no matter how hard I tried to hash them out. Now that I'm back and in a clearer headspace, I'm going to try again to dismantle and fix the problems presented. Thanks for your patience/sorry for the inconvenience ^^;
