Thank you for this! How did you change the shaders?? Is that done in S4S, or in a 3d modeling program? There are some objects I've wanted to do the same thing to.

You can use S4S or TSR workshop. I don't know if I can place links here but to do it in S4S search by "How to find an object's shader data in Studio", to do it in TSR Workshop search by Material editor.

But be careful. Counter shaders may uses more resources and it doesnt look that good if used in tall objects or wall objects.

I tried the counter shader on the "snap shelves" but it sucks. The shelves have many slots and can be placed higher than a counter, each item placed on any slot will cast an odd shadow on the shelves and this shadow will combine with each other until the shelves became really dark. By now, the best solution is the maxis's choice, the cabinet shaders, + some mod that removes the blue tint like the luumia in NoBlu.
