Aww I'm sorry, I couldn't make as many flags as I would with an item with swatches like a shirt or doors, as each cake required a lot of work to make functional on the menu as well as to conceptualise a unique theme for.

I plan to make more for next year but I managed to burn myself out a bit getting these ready for this year (I usually make 4 items a month in total but I really wanted at least to have something trans, something nb, something ace-spec and something to represent the LGBTQ+ community but also do a range of other stuff too so I ended up making 6 items total for the month which I'm proud of me for tbh ).

So yeah I decided the rainbow pride flag to represent the LGBT community in general (though I know not everyone uses the rainbow flag that way), trans flag, non-binary for us nb folks, and ace (the ace one I'm particularly happy with cause those flowers were a pain but turned out really nice lol). I didn't even make my own (pan) flag in the end, though I do plan to next year. I do plan to make another 4 next year and the sunset flag will be among those.

I do know of some décor pride cakes here, which has a lesbian one included if that helps. Your sim can't bake or eat it but hopefully it'll hit the spot until I make the functional one next year.

Just curious, I saw you posted these and said you ran out of steam for this year, but will you ever add lesbian or bi? If I'm being honest, nb feels sort of redundant with the trans cake, and not everyone is fond of being referred to as a slur, you know? Not even adding what a tire fire this forum may devolve into when certain parts of the community see this. I'm FTM and bi, and this is just my two cents, but it looks incredibly well done, regardless! Just giving a heads up!

Well, as a nonbinary person, it didn't feel redundant to me, I wanted to represent the non-binary community, some of whom don't identify as trans (personally I do, but that's not everyone). So it was personally important to me to make sure that cake was included.

Like I said above I plan to make more for next year, pan and lesbian (sunset flag) will be among them, maybe bi, but it all depends, but this won't be happening until next year so I can't say for sure. No more will happen this year. Let me explain why I wasn't able to do as many cakes as I'd like to: food takes time to both make and add the tuning for so you can bake it in-game, so it's not the same as just adding another swatch where I just recolour the cake and upload the new swatch in S4S, each cake is a separate object that I have to go through a process for. So I was only really able to make 4 this year, given I also have other things I do. I'm personally proud of myself for managing that many, like I said usually I make this many dishes for a whole month, so making 4 for just one pack was a big project and took me a great deal of time to complete as it was.

So if the process was easier, I'd absolutely have had the time and created a cake for everyone, I'd have loved to have had a bi cake for my bi characters and a lesbian cake for my lesbian characters, but I had to pick 4 cakes. Like I said, each of these is its own small mod, and requires a lot of work (for me) to do correctly.

The term you're talking about is a divisive term for some, and I did use to reject it myself, but I've since decided I wish to reclaim it, I have changed the wording in my comment as I realise it sounded as if I expected everyone to feel represented by that, which I understand they don't. So for that I'm sorry, I've changed that wording now to omit the word and instead use "LGBT+". What I meant was the rainbow flag is for the whole LGBT community in general here. I linked some décor cakes in my post above to tide you over.

Heya, this is great! I was wondering if it uses the baking skill if you have get together?

Btw ignore the redundant comment the other person made, that was very rude of them. Im bi as well but I dont go around saying others sexualities and gender identities are redundant

I'm afraid not, sorry. I agree "baking" makes more sense for cakes as well but they all use the cooking skill so it can be BGC, I'm afraid. Sorry about that.

Thank you as well for the second part, that was honestly a wee bit hurtful.

I won't need to, most likely.

The way SCCO works is it counts a range of different modded eggs. So for this recipe you could use icemunmun eggs (from her chicken coop mod), SCCO eggs or BrazenLotus eggs and the recipe would use the tag. What I imagine will happen is that Srsly will add the EA egg to the category. Which would mean that the SCCO tag still covers the most bases. if that makes sense?

Hey there, make sure you have the food enabler, you have to use those to pick the cakes. You also have to make sure it's the most recent one.
