This actually makes those decor only items worth keeping around. I love space saving items that add personality like this too! Thank you!

Thanks! My plan is to convert a bunch of deco-only items into things that can serve a purpose. I have a few more almost ready to go but I need to finish testing and organizing them.

What a great idea! Yes, this is very useful, especially if you want to have a smaller home. (Or a slob Sim with a dresser.)

I wonder could you make any deco "hamper" as functional hamper?

I could probably put the tuning on it and have it technically function but I don't know how to do the states of the laundry piling up to show how full it is.

If I ever figure out how to do states on objects I can look into it but even then I might need to do custom meshes, something else I know nothing about.

*giggles* hehehe a more down to earth mod, I'm not gonna lie my laundry basket ends up being my my dresser a lot of times....I mean hey, I cleaned the cloths, putting them away is another story :p

You and me both! This was definitely inspired by the fact that I wear clean clothes from my hamper a lot more than from my dresser

When/If you figure out how to do this, will you be making it a new download, or will you be updating this one?
Think you're any closer to achieving this btw?

It would definitely be a new download since it would be different functionality.

As for whether I'm close, I'm really not unfortunately. My last few forays into states have been very unsuccessful. If I ever post a functional calendar you'll know I've gotten closer but until then I'm still very stuck.
