Thank you very much, Ladysimplayer8! It's always great to visit mts to find your newest conversions =)

I have a question, if you don't mind. Are there any important differences between your conversions and, in the case of the mid-century sets, those made by amovitamsim back in 2012? I don't mind at all replacing theirs yours, but for me there's the downside of having to find the lots where I used these sets and place them again.

Hello @nosferatuman
Thank you for your comment.
Prior to creating and uploading, I try to check that the objects have not previously been uploaded on Mod the Sims. Recently though I am finding that the search hash tags that I would expect haven't been used; also an odd object was previously given another name rather than the Store/EP name and description which doesn't help either. I did search through all the dining room buy objects but didn't find any of these items in this set, so uploaded them.
Did amovitamsim previously upload to MTS but has now removed them? Are they still a member?
It is unlikely that my version will differ from amovitamsim's objects; I did create subsets and split objects for easy recoloring but no behaviours have been changed or slots moved. If I were you, I wouldn't replace them as the odds of amovitamsim and myself choosing the exact same object to clone would not be high. Consequently you would, as you state, have to locate the lots that were used etc.

amovitamsim used to share cc on their livejournal, not on MtS. There's a databse where all 3t2 conversions released so far are listed (322cdb.livejournal.com), including those made by you.

The entry for this dining set, for example, has a link to amovitam's conversion: https://322cdb.livejournal.com/66030.html
But looks like you are the first creator to ever convert the lamps, so thank you again for that!

But I did decide to keep yours instead, so I can have the complete set made by the same creator. And honestly, I couldn't remember if the older conversion has subsets, so I'm sold haha. Also, with yours being brand new conversions, and being on a better known site, they have a greater chance of getting recolors in the future =)

Thank you for replying!

Hello @nosferatuman
Thank you for your reply and the link to the previous conversion,
I was going to do some more Mid-Century Modern stuff but it looks like they have been done too. Time for me to think about Xmas shopping. :D

Hello @Missdabone,
Thank you for your comment.
I thought you would like Mid-Century furnishings as much as I do. I was going to do some more of the Mid-Century Modern furnishings but looks like it has been done.

I love your conversions, but it is true that sometimes some object has caused a conflict even without having any conversion that is not yours. I decided to keep your conversions because I always have conflicts when downloading on other pages and at least with yours I make sure that it does not happen, since it is difficult to know where each object is from and be careful not to have duplicates, you make it very easy.

Many thanks for converting the lights for this set! I have thought about mentioning that several of the sets you have converted have already been done by Veranka at her site. For instance I have the rest of this set (except the lights) already in my game and the "trash or treasure" chairs you lately did. By all means continue to convert stuff but you might want to take a look at her site to avoid duplication, just a thought. And again thanks!

Hello @greywolf3
Do you not climb a hill because someone else has climbed it before?
All objects and sets are fair game to be converted and uploaded to Mod the Sims provided they are not duplicates and meet the guidelines.
For the record, I received a suggestion from a member, @istillplaythesims2, requesting Sims4 City Living (which contains Trash or Treasure objects) and created 12 sets as there are loads of items (over 60). I am very happy having these objects in my game and hope istilplaythesims2 is too - that is all that matters.

I'm loving the conversions so far! They really help make up for my missing stuff packs and EPs

Hello @imlemonyfresh
Thank you for your comment.
You should find the Higher Tech Cake Plate in Decorative/Miscellaneous and costs $280.
At the time of upload, the information of the location and price of items was listed but somehow it has been removed. I may have to update sets again with Buy Mode info!
