Have you actually managed to get babies to be one day? If so, how? I've tried and concluded this is actually impossible and that the shortest possible number of days for babies is in fact 2 days. I've since moved on to a double-length age span, but I'm very curious to know how you managed to get babies to age up after just one day.

@Rosawyn I edited BHAVs that create new Sims or pets. More precisely, conditions which checked if an age group lasts less than 2 days. That means that Sim or pet creators which use a copy of the original code still prevent babies, puppies, and kitten from having only one day left to the next age group.

Hiya, I really like this mod. I've been trying to get a 1 day = 1 year lifespan to work in my game for ages. Do you happen to have a version that doesn't assume all sims go to college?

@emmaclmitchell It turned out it's not so difficult to add some days if a Sim haven't been to college or has dropped out of college. I'm going to release an improved version soon.

This doesn't work with Super Collection on Mac. For me it caused blank/blue wants slots for toddlers. I used the 50/50 method and deleted this mod and then the wants showed up again for toddlers. Luckily for me, I tested this in my testhood and I have no other neighborhoods/families since I'm starting new again so everything is fine. I just thought I should mention it here.

@Elenor Which file or files did you use? Do you use any mod which conflicts with this one? Do the empty want slots appear again after you put only this particular mod back into your game and don't remove or add any other mods?

I used simNopke-1YearAs1DayLifespan-pets-growUpNextDay.pac and simNopke-1YearAs1DayLifespan-sims-growUpNextDay.pac.
I don't believe I use any mod that conflicts with this one. I don't have any other sim lifespan mods. But I do have one that affects aging up which is the community time project http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/s...hp?topic=7462.0.

And yes the wants disappeared again after I put this mod back into my game and didn't remove or add other mods.
I downloaded this mod, tried it in my testhood, then I saw the want slots disappear and I went into my downloads folder, sorted after "recently added" mods and this was the latest one I downloaded so I deleted this mod and cleared cache.groups.
Then I went into my testhood, the wants rerolled and returned to normal, so then I thought the issue could be in cache.groups so I tried downloading this mod again because I really wanted to use it, but then the want slots turned blue again.

I don't know if this could be a conflict with the community time mod or with the super collection? But I think I have seen youtuber Pleasant Sims use both mods/simliar mods at the same time without an issue so I thought that it should be fine.

@Elenor The community time project mod doesn't affect aging up and doesn't conflict with those mods.
I'd also check an opposite setup: remove all the mods and check if the bug occurs.

I tried removing all mods and only adding this one just now, and the bug still happened

@Elenor But with all mods removed, even mine, the bug doesn't occur?

@Elenor Could you send a screenshot of the wants panel of an affected toddler?

I'm using the "pets age next day" version of the pet lifespan mod, and my pets still have vanilla age durations. I just checked and one of my large dogs that I turned into a stray has 22 days on his age bar. Am I doing something wrong? (Needless to say, I don't have any other pet lifespan mods.)

@Amalia81 The beginning of the description says:
Quote:
Note that after you have installed any lifespan mods, only newly created Sims/pets will be immediately affected by it. Already existing Sims/pets will use new lifespan settings after they grow up. However, you may use Smart Age Correct by Chris Hatch and Lazy Duchess which updates life stage durations of existing Sims/pets in order to match them to newly installed lifespan mods.

@Nopke, I have that mod and it corrected human sims' ages, but not pets. The hack conflict detector didn't detect any conflicts with anything, so I have no idea what's wrong. Could it perhaps be resolved by changing the load order?

EDIT: Changing the load order (making the age correct mod load last) did nothing. I'm not sure what else I can try.

@Amalia81 Do you have the newest version of that mod? The older one doesn't handle pets.

@Nopke, solved! I re-downloaded the age correct mod and my pets have been corrected. Thanks for the help!
